Thread: The Alchemist and the Philosopher's Stone guide

Didn't 3 star all the missions. Was doing a blind run for lols - time to check the vid for the last map to see where I'm doing wrong

I'm using 3 Archers (Bashira, Shao Mincost, and Soma CR-1), 2 witches (Calliope CR-2, Cloris), Khuri (Mincost), Leeanne, Verotte, a Healer(AW'd Iris for me but Alissa and Dorca can do the work with CR; all these units CC'd, MaxAff and at max Lvl), and the Prince for that map. Big demon drops the fairy, or so people have reported on Millennium War Aigis/Nutaku Version Wiki. Without AW'd Spica, I guess it is a pretty close call taking him down, bringing Spica helps your archers do the job faster. You just place the Witches at a reasonable distance so they slow him down good enough, and let your arrows hit the big guy until they take him down. I find placing Bashira in the middle area the best choice so she can continuously hit him with her skill.

Another fun strategy is bringing Pupuru (if you have her), let her skill charge while your Ranged DPS hit the demon and then when the gargoyles come, activate her skill to take them all down or weaken them considerably, or a Mage for conventional AOE. The main point is saving all Skills for the moment the big demon appears so you can shoot him down ASAP.

Demon was a non-factor with Despara, Nanaly and Minerva smashing him with skills up

On a more general-use note, you want units like Bashira (NOT AW preferably; if AW you'll need AOE to clear out the others in her range due to her AW priority ability screwing with her in this map), witches (slowing him is good, very good), and pirates to burn him down. Uzume/Shuka skill is awesome here since their skills buff ALL deployed units' attack, so all your ranged people get the buff. If you're using Bashira/Nanaly/Elizabeth or units like Minerva/Beatrice/etc. (attack speed up skills), a dancer is good too.

Demon was demolished by Elizabeth, Spica, Claire and Rachel...

And now i apparently need to grind the 5 stamina map because i lack cannoneers.

I briefly considered farming for cannoneers, but then I remembered I have like 30 pirates.

I'll just try to finish off my Misha this event (-2, 4/5 atm, IIRC).

Thanks for the advice. Don't have any AW units on my end. Just CCed, not max levels yet for my Plat and Gold units.

it is me or the event unit is much easier to farm than the last farm unit (the girl who increase her stat dramastically when using skill)

You mean Maribel? That may be because Maribels event was a revival event of an early event for Nutakus aigis so chances are the drop rates weren't as high unlike this events where the missions are harder thus the drop rate is probably better than that of Maribels event, especially with the 90/12 map where she is a 100% drop.

Or it could have simply been the sting of RNG that makes it feel that way.

it's all RNG, i have 1 copy only and that's because the 1 time i did 90/12 for the 3*, then i returned to farm mages and canons ever since

I managed to 3 star 90/12 on my second attempt. Like others the Demon was easy, its all the other things rushing that make it hard then the Alchemist blazing everything down if I don't withdraw weakened units within AOE fast enough.

I have been lucky so far with 4 Colins dropping outside the 100% (I got 4 of those). Not going to farm her specifically (got +2/-2 using first 3) so focusing on Heavies. So far a grand total of 1 Samurai and another Colin from that. Also picked up a Rogue on my first run through.

Keeping those sweet, sweet SCs for next week
