    Even that is pretty debatable. A little bit of restraint is all it takes to turn any event into a net positive for newbies--the first two or three maps are virtually always a softball thrown in as a bone to new players and thus are an easy source of crystals as long as you can resist the temptation to keep beating your head against the maps you can't finish. Angst over missing an event unit is typically rather misplaced since frankly most of them aren't very special.

    there was a whole tornado of arguments and not-really-arguments about why they are good and why they aren't, if you have read the whole thing the general consensus was "if you want a break, then a break is good for you; if you don't want a break, then a break isn't good for you" end
