Thread: Great Yokai Battle event guide

Was a rather funny mistake :P

Plat ticket tomorrow... Time to get a dupe plat because i realise i have all but like 3-5 plats.

To be honest, I usually hate this kind of events because their charisma+stamina consuption makes it quite hard to farm a nice amount of the items required, even when farming the last map.

But with the current situation on this event, I actually enjoyed it a lot. Way less pressure when farming, also spending SC hurts less when you can see that you can make it in time. I wish this happened with a better unit, Nagi isn't a particularly outstanding unit at all, but still counts.

But above everything else, I wish Nutaku could just apply that consuption configuration to upcoming events of this type. Yes, I'm aware I'm being unrealistic, but hey, having hope is harmless. And free.

Well, these events are meant to be SC consumers. Especially in the future when the units you get from them are really good (like getting some of the best units of that specific class. Spending 20-30 SC to get a black unit that is really good is not a bad thing, unless you really wanted those silvers of course).

Just wait, the better collection units will hopefully come eventually.

I was about to say, "Halfway through the event and I only have... 375 Talismans. This is not good." But it makes sense that this is something you're expected to spend SC on.

It's just weird because there are other events that very obviously don't require you to spend SC, so it's a little jarring when they drop an event that requires them.

These types of events also award most potent of event units in average. I mean, if not for Saki, even Nagi would be quite a star of free player's team

And, to be fair, only event type that absolutely don't require spending SCs to perfect it is Star Trial, as you either have enough firepower (of needed types) to clear it all, or or you don't. And even then there's an option to burn through your stash to power-level your units . Even the humblest of Unit Farm events could go terribly wrong even for veterans, with target unit refusing to drop and what little drops refusing to proc Skill Up and Cost Reductions, with everything in it being left to the mercy of Random Number Goddess (and we all know how she can be sometimes). So yeah

200 talismans left and 6 days to go I guess i'll finally get a perfect event unit from a collection event. I did spend 5 sc on it tho, but it was worth it. Also got a dupe jerome from the left over sc and robert from the daily free draw which makes me think that I used up all my luck since getting a gold on free summons is rare for me.

48 runs - no rainbow fairies, 3 star everything except 2 ninja maps

Tried the Island of Monsters - it's easier than the last one I think - still can't figure how to kill the last 2 Water Dragons

I actually messed up on the 300 run because of the last tanky fishmen getting past my blockers. Had to rearrange it so that Uzume was on the left instead of the right. 400 and 500 was easy enough to blind-run with Nanaly, but I need an afk strat for how ungodly long this is.

Guess you stole my possible jerome from the shrine :c wish i'd have him for once.

As for event im at 87 talismans now, gonna do some more maps and get closer to perfecting nagi.
