Thread: First pick unit choice

Mages and bishops are a bit weird in the sense that they're so prone to overkill and attack so slowly that I evaluate them based a bit less on small differences in dps and a bit more on whether those differences are enough to change them to 1 or 2 shotting critters that have common trash wave hit point totals like 500, 1,000, and 1,500 so I have a better idea what kinda dinky stuff waves they can usually handle by themselves without having many leakers between shots. For example, I don't like Marius that much more than Noel--his range is pretty cool but if you're using a mincost Noel instead of a full cost Marius I would completely understand--but I like them both quite a bit more than Barbastroff or Cyrus because with Prince buff factored in either of them can 2 shot the 1,500 hp critters that are so common in this game. Sasha, Odette and Garania I have off roughly in their own tier above them because they're more durable--don't laugh, it's handy on maps with aoe, poison or both--and even Garania can just barely hit 900 damage after Prince buff which lets her 1 one shot purple goblin kings while also having that huge splash range during skill in her back pocket. Sasha and Odette both hit harder than Garania (and in Sasha's cases a bit faster) but amusingly the difference is rarely big enough to matter very much unless you also have an AW Garania buffing them in the first place. I won't talk about Estelle because she's Estelle.

So.. im rolling for Syb since she's boosted and ended up with Grace and Estelle on same account, so now I have yet a new dilemma.. should i keep rolling for Syb or are these 2 worth stoping here?

depends simply on how deep your pockets are. As a rule of thumb , rolling for blacks (3% chance) is not the best ideea , but if u have the money to trow at them , sure....why not ?

I didnt mean Syb as an addition but as a trade off for the 2 others

You could make an argument that either of those two individually are better than Syb.

oh...u meant account rolling. If that's the case , yes , estelle and grace are really good individually. Both on the same account is insanely good , more so then having sybilla. Hell , estelle alone is a huge dpser and buffer for your team


Add grace to that , which is another huge dps source AND another buffer for your team , and you have the makings of a really storng account
