Thread: The Feng Shui Master and the Crimson Cult event guide

So, thinking back, I don't actually recall myself seriously doing many item collection events. Pretty sure my first item event at all was Claudia and I think I was only recently into the game.

Anyways, I was wondering if this item collection event happened to be... I dunno, more difficult than normal. I mean for Great Yokai Battle I recall myself not even needing to worry about using SC too much, but for this event I'm lagging waaaaaaaaay behind. Anyone else finding this a bit weird?

Oh, and I've been doing the 90/12 map drops if that makes any difference.

The Great Yokai Battle had incorrect charisma and stamina values for its maps. The map we had as 100/2 should have been 90/12, which means natural regen would only net you about 700 items, same as this one.
As a rule of thumb, if you spend all your natural regen on an IC event, you should be able to (barely) reach the -3 unit cost, but to get a perfect unit (or at least a mincosted one), you will have to use ~30 SCs.
So no, this event is normal, the Great Yokai one was the anomaly.

Got my min-cost, used all 18 of my saved up crystals(+2? from logins) and another 7 from clearing a bunch of 4star maps I couldn't finish earlier (I've been leveling my silvers/males recently). Every time I start to get a decent stock of crystals one of these events pops up, I guess that's how it's designed.

both accounts standing at 700 (so -3cr) without any sc used. Honestly , i don't see the point in investing that much in her. Her skill is rather....situation and her awakening and SAW are meh IMO. I mean...i don't see myself using more then 1 feng shui in a party and her SAW pretty much transforms her in an archer instead of a feng shui master.

samesies spend DC and Plat Fairy farming and trying 3 star some maps led me less farming for bonez

This even is anything but normal for me, as I've had extended periods where the 90/12 map drops exclusively 3 or 4 bone fragment items, averaging at 16 fragment value which is ridiculous. On top of that I just had a run where the drops were 2 fragments, a 3 and 5 value for 8 total.
Something seriously needs to be fixed if the devs expect people to keep playing their game.

Well, not sure about those "people" you've mentioned, but for me 90/12 map has pretty satisfying drop rates - most of the times (like, 60-70%) I had a full drop, and only a few times I was unlucky enough to get 3-4 drops. So, I guess it's safe to say that the game has no problems with it, the issue is your luck.
