I know this post is as constructive and helpful as a justin bieber fan but... Lafate? Are my eyes dreaming? Its been over a year, are you back?

    Sorry. Had to be.

So with this template you want to sort all units into what roles they fill? Which classes havent u used, so people can focus an eye on them?

As far as roles go I think you could make an argument for having "gate keeper" and "lightning rod" categories. Gate keeper units would be characters that can vary how many units they're blocking and thus can avoid unwinnable fights without withdrawing--you know, stuff like Sailors, Angels, Pegasus Riders and Puppeteers. Lightning rods would be durable units with good MR that relieve tank pressure by eating some ranged magic damage that Defense based tanks don't otherwise mitigate. E.g., several of the valks, dark fighters and princesses plus virtually the entire angel crew. Sophie is a gold standard in both categories, fwiw; she can happily face tank lich bolts while letting the most dangerous melee shit wander by so your ranged dps and tanks can murder them in relative peace.

Yep, I'm back and it seems I've missed quite a bit. As for what classes I haven't used pretty much the ones that haven't arrived to Nutaku and are newer on DMM.

The Gatekepper/Gateway unit is being a class in the next version due to feedback from other areas. Giving lightning rod a role however, was iffy. People werne't sure since it is pretty much a strategy tactic and not a role. Virtually anything can be a lightning rod and it really is simply dependent on what you are trying to have focus that unit(that dictates the statS needed). In most cases it is duelist and gate keepers that serve that role, and it would be a little redundant to include it when you are already going to have those units from other roles.

That's fair and I certainly felt like the case for lightning rod was a lot shakier than for gatekeeper. It's hard to make a clear cut distinction as to what that role would completely entail since people don't restrict themselves to using the the term for high MR units like Odette or Sophie. And frankly, I never felt entirely comfortable trying to restrict the term to only magic resistant units in the first place given that high rarity vampire hunters are roughly as bulky (or bulkier, in the case of Fran) as gold soldiers and can flat out solo a lot of ranged monsters if need be.
