    Lightbulb The Summon Beast in the Earth revival event guide

    Good timeofaday, brave Princes! It is that time of the week again, and as customary for the second week of Star Break, revival comes our way. And it is the revival of previous Star Rush, one considered hardest at his time, which means time for a revenge!

    So let's kick the behind of The Summon Beast in the Earth!

    Revival runs: 2017-08-01 to 2017-08-08




    Rewards
    This is a Moment Crystal collection event. You farm event maps for special Moment Crystal drops and use it to buy event target(s) from Trading Post.

    (Re)Introducing the Summoner Solano. First of her special class (meaning, no class evolution necessary), Solano is Summoner - rear slot magical AoE blasting equivalent of an Angel - off skill they don't attack at all, but once you fire up their skill, they start blasting everybody in range with the flaming wrath of their Summons. Range is a bit lower than of a mage before Awakening and equals mage's after it. Sure, needing the skill to deal damage may be a disadvantage, but as with Angels, Summoners have more than enough stats to make up for it. And they cost half a mage, to boot! Awakening for Solano specifically brings the boon of increased attack speed, making able to squeeze an extra attack at max skill (11 when before Awakening there was 10). And a massive potential attack increase, with barely a dip upon Awakening itself, so do Awaken her ASAP. Skill Awakening, whenever it becomes available for her, turns her damage into true, meaning no pesky demons or mithril golems will be safe from the raging flames of Solano's Summon - Efreet - anymore. Cost of such a wonderful transition is 5 s decrease in duration, dropping number of attacks to 9, but true damage is very much worth it.

    Comments about the event
    It's a Revival, so if you can do current Star Rush, you should have little problems with it. Anyway, our good friends Cyclops are back and they still pack quite a punch. Especially Black ones. Nowhere near Mithril Golem levels, but still pretty respectable 2.5k. Fortunately, their amour is weak, and magic resistance is nonexistent, so they will fall fast. There's also Lich and usual black goblin archers to melt your rear line, so don't forget your lightning rods. And a gimmick map with large defense increase, so pack magic damage over physical one. Last maps feature continuous damage map effect, perfect playground for your Pippin to shine!

    MC farming vise, all maps but first two and both Flame Beasts feature two drops of MCx3. First two maps drop one MC each, while Flame Beast and Flame Beast X drop four bundles of MCx3.
    Also, all X maps except Flame Beast X guarantee their 6 MCs.

    On a silver farming front, here's a run-down of possible drops:


    Revival MC Shop:
    • Solano - 150 (100 for subsequent)

    You should be having some MCs in the pocket already, from previous MC Revivals, so proceed accordingly .
    Unspent MCs stay with you and can be used in subsequent Revival Shops to buy other Star / Collection event units.

    F.A.Q

    Q: Will Solano be at minimum cost / maximum skill level?
    A: No, she will be at skill level 1 and not cost reduced.

    Q: WHAT?! They expect me to buy multiple Solanos to raise her skill?!
    A: Well, you'll need them for Cost Reduction anyway, so yeah. But, Christia, Rainbow Spirit also exist exactly for that. And furthermore, there's Lanterns, spirits with skill matching our event unit, to be used for all your Skill Up needs.

    Q: Speaking of drop rates, specifically for Moment Crystals...
    A: Unknown at the moment. But as a rule of the thumb, higher the cost, better the drop rates.

    Q: What will happen to unspent Moment Crystals when event ends?
    A: You will keep all unspent MCs and will be able to use them to purchase target units in other MC Revivals. And yes, that meant pre-grinding for future events is possible.

    The previous owner of my current nutaku acc seems couldnt do the very last map (2*) and the one with black oni rushing in (1*) on the original event. Latter handled ez with despara saw, watching her freezing the shit out of the fucker was satistifying as for the former, well, how could i know that shining black oni was this stronk <_< gotta spam deine+sybilla next time (i should stop being a lazy ass and level that pippin...)

    Looking at enemy stats, obviously event tells us to spam magic damage.

    The post-battle dialogue in the first mission has one of my favorite lines from Anna yet. After Solano complains after being rescued, Anna is just so "not having any of your shit" that she doesn't dignify Solano's complains with anything but a single-sentence sarcastic reply, delivered with her usual calm expression.

    Someone commented on here that their personal theory is that Anna, when not cheerfully supporting the Prince and providing tactical info, is kind of a snarky bitch. Not helped, no doubt, by the Prince banging literally every woman but her... I'm certainly enjoying the idea that she has all these smartass remarks she keeps to herself.

    well, anna had an event to get her as a unit(and therefor be bangable) but it was skipped on nutaku. so if all the sex is canon then she totally got some by now.

    question;
    does worth doing CR to MC units like this? i mean, idk whats the prime time to deploy this kind of unit, for basic units i know how much cost it can be in the range of "acceptable", but for unique/event units im lost..

    As a rule of a thumb, less unit cost is, more crucial CRs are for them. For skill dependents this goes double, as sooner they are out, sooner their initial wait timer ticks down.

    And Solano has awesome mincost of 15. For an AoE unit it's quite a cheap. You neeed to reach it.

    I wouldnt call her cheap since she has initial timer of 10 second, 10+15, well 25 can still be considered as cheap but not as much good 'for that matter' still since she has her downtimes. Solano shines on saw i believe, big aoe true damage with haste passive, it should be really nice. (only used her normal skill till now so, not very sure still)

    Think Mighty Ogre X needs to be updated, since the current map is a bit different than the one shown in the videos. Not sure how the first vid strategy will go, but the second one is a no go, for me at least, since that aura changes things.

    Yeah tbh i tried the map with AW fignelia and belinda tanking with anya but the first black ogre with aura just cant be stopped soon enough. Tokens dont help, he attacks too fast. My Karma has no CR/SU and is lvl 1.

    Updated Mighty Ogres X with two Revival videos.
    You either stall him with Eden while burning with everything or burn down with two high-AW witches and high-dps unit in last ranged slot, without tanking him at all.
