    Other games like Aigis?

With our beloved game closing down, gotta scratch that itch some other way. This means, there's a need to find some other game(s) similar enough.
So, I am seeking another good tower defense game with similarly high quality gameplay, and high retention / replayability. Middle-to-low need to grind would be appreciated, and low time necessary to spend on it daily would be a godsend. Versatile strategy and good "tower" variability would also be plus.
Alternatively, a good roleplaying / strategy game with interesting story and characters. Same consideration to time investment needed, gameplay and unit variability.
Strictly English language - can't read moonrunes, can't become engaged in a game where I can't understand the story and conversations.
Have you came across something like that that you are willing to recommend a fellow soon-to-be-kingdomless Prince?

From me myself, on the roleplaying front, a recommendation goes to Fate/Grand Order. Android/iOS platform, players outside of US can get it from APKPure / QooApp for Android (works well, in-game purchases included). This new (to the west) entry to acclaimed Fate franchise puts you into the role of a last surviving Master of Chaldea Security Organization for the Preservation of Humanity charged to lead the colorful team of humanity's greatest heroes (and similarly famous historical characters) back in time in an ultimate quest for Holy Grail, to ensure the very existence of humanity's history, the Grand Order!
Outstanding game all-around: patented TYPE-MOON quality story, interesting characters (Nasu's take on historical figures like King Arthur, Hercules or Francis Drake, or Mata Hari), engaging gameplay where even the common rarity units are viable. If your phone can run it, definitely try it out, it's totally worth it!

I'm ALMOST sure that there isn't another game like aigis. I've searched many times for such a thing, but to no avail. I hope someone else in this forum can prove me wrong and give us all Kingdomless Princes some hope.
A long time ago I played Granblue Fantasy and thought it was a good enough game, I can't say i recommend it but maybe it's worth a look.

Kamihime's gameplay is based off of Granblue's iirc. So if you liked that, you should play Kamihime.

The Kingdom Rush dev just released a new Tower Defense that looks amazing 'Iron marines'

  5. There are no mobages/mobile games like Aigis in english. The only games like Aigis for phone are in japanese, so I can only say good english mobages. You can play Kingdom Hearts Union Cross, Digimon Linkz, Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle (is very generous with gacha!), Sword Art Online Memory Defrag (good game, but only play if you can with almost shitty rate gacha), Phantom of the Kill or Fire Emblem Heroes if you like tactics games, Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links, Tales of the Rays (very good mobage, almost has the same feeling like playing a real Tales of) and finally Crash Fever which has a really good OST and good designs (also played by a lot of F/GO players).
mobage player ♥. // he, him // idols are my passion.

    • Kamihime Project.
    • Flower Knight Girl.
    • Phone Games.
    • Pero-Pero Seduction (not anymore).

I'd say is a bad copy of that game, and there is no way i'm going to keep playing nutaku's games.

Though my recommendation isn't a tower defense. Though you do have to defend your base and prevent any hostiles or even friendly npcs from capturing it. That would be the Visual Novel: Kamidori. Unless you already played it since it's been out and the quality is amazing. For the grind, the Deadbeat Dungeon in Kamidori for EXP and burst of gold for the first time you visit each area of that dungeon. For farming gold, the shop system is quick, easy and painless. Though the farming for materials to make items to sell might take one hour to beat a chapter is fine.

There is a new iOS game that came out this year called "Crazy Defense Heroes" which is a TD, CCG and RPG, exactly what Aigis is. It seems to be developed by a chinese company. I have not played it since I dont have an apple device, but it is said that the game will come out for Android later this year.
