actually skill AW shouldnt affect your priority for now, because we won't get skill AW soon. so AW order should primarily focus on stats and AW ability only. Odette's AW ability only adds 10 MR which is largely useless, but the increase in attack would be great if you can get her to AW50+, especially if you're using her as primary mage.
with regards to AW, just make sure you can get them to AW20~30 asap if you AW them, otherwise their stats will be lower than pre-AW, disregarding any potential bonus from their AW ability.
In the english version, awakening can be misleading. Because they call it ability awakening and skill awakening
The typical awakening we know of that changes the symbol from "the red arrow" to "bigger blue circle" is the ABILITY AWAKENING.
That one is available to all classes. (assuming nutaku takes it from the current dmm) Mages, witches and ninjas included.
Skill awakening is when a units ALREADY awakened and has 5/5 or 10/10 in other words maxed skill. Then you get change their skill to do something that is usually better. normal dmg -> true dmg or just something totally whacky. But for now, you can ignore skill awakening. Its something you want to put resources in only after awakening most of your units, although some skill awakenings are pretty meh.
I never get what is awakening at all and you confused me even more. They say awakening is 2nd cc, regarding to this an awakened 1 level gold unit is better than 50cc60 one is it true? And now u are saying skill and ability awakening... I dont know japanese and wiki has limited information about aw stuff, this thread only shows aw skills and abilities. Anyway a game gets only better when reaching endgame stuff gets harder which means more rewarding at the end.
Awakening and skill awakening are two different things.
I'm fairly certain that awakening a unit actually reduces the stats below what they were, but also resets the level to 1 and increases the level cap once again. I'm uncertain as to how many levels will be required for a unit to regain the lost stats, but you also must understand that they sometimes gain additional passive abilities.
with regards to the bolded part, no (or actually, it depends). Note that units will decrease some stats on AW-ing, but some abilities like +7% archer attack (Spica) and increase def buff (Deine) may offset it.
like buttlover and kotono said, there are 2 Awakenings. I prefer to call them Unit Awakening and Skill Awakening.
Unit Awakening = unlock/upgrade unit ability + decrease some stats but increasing max stats (AW20~30 to reach 50cc60 stats I believe)
Skill Awakening = upgraded skill. you can ignore this portion entirely for now, we will not expect to get it within a year from now.
Ok got it. Unit awakening adds an ability + increase max stats while lowering them a bit at the initial stage and skill awakening is another story. And just want a short answer to this -> in order to awaken an unit, do we have to cc it to max level?
