Thread: Ninja Army of Darkness Guide

Sorry for bringing back a certain topic that has already been discussed but I'm starting to be fed up with these breaks. Don't get me wrong, it's a good thing for new players or players that need to get some of their new units ready. Also, I completely agree on the fact that if we are going to have any form of break, the best place for it to be is after a farming event, not a star collection event or a gold rush. If the circumnstances were not these, I wouldn't even be bothered because we are leaving a farming event behind (managed to up my Saki to 3/5 and max CR my Azami with 4/5 skill, guessed I could try maxing her withouth spending any extra resource to see if she is of any use in future events considering I already have Hina and Saki and besides, I had nothing better to do with my resources).

The problem here is that we had a gold rush event before this... which happened to have a break after it... which happened to be during Christmas and we didn't get any form of freebies or event related to it (I can even understand the event problem, but no freebies? Come on Nutaku, you even gave us some SC during Black Friday). Now? another break. At this point in time I'm not even sure if the issue is DMM failing to provide updates for Nutaku because of certain reasons or the people at Nutaku being lazy asses and simply not caring for the player base in MWA. Just take a look at most other Nutaku games... the events are almost nonstop constantly and they are even popping out new games like the world was going to end next month. I'm currently only playing MWA and this trend kind of infuriates me. Should I start the game today, I would've started it in DMM.

End of rant. I don't want to start another discussion like the one before, but feel free to discuss this if you want to.

He said "AW fodder units". You have golds/30CC'd silvers sitting around? Hell, you have 100 DC for every unit you plan to AW?

To me, defeat only comes when everyone's dead and the giant "You lose" screen is up. People in Dota hate me for it. Evidently, so will Malus since I wasted his Stamina.

No , not cc-ed , yet a have a crapload of fodder , except for archers.

EDIT: As for dc's , well , i have enough to insta AW 2 unit on 1 account , and enough for 3 on the other , seeing as i don't see saki a priority right now. Hell , i might wait to awaken some units first , then buy chydis , and then get saki. Other then some niche maps ,were u can;t use archers (like the monk event) , i fail to see me needing more ranged prowess. I mean , between maxed spica , lvl 60 bashira , and maxed nanly , and the 2 magic fencers which i got on both accounts (and with the exception of 1 charlote that is cr 3 , the rest are mincosted) , i fail to see the need for a saki asap.

So , yes i'm decently ready for AW. more so then most people. But what i lack the most is gold for example and spirits/aff items , which this break is giving me an oportunity to max. And obviously more dcs

I'm pretty sure most of us can AW at least one unit off the bat because of how many breaks we've had.

I can definitely AW two, maybe even three of my princesses ASAP. Sybilla and Lilia are top priority for me, and I've got their CC'd soldier/valk/witch ready. I could AW Themis if I wanted to too. Not my second Sybilla though, she's not capped yet.

I've got a bunch of other 30CC'd classes set up too, but I'm lacking in archers and I still need to set up more rogues/pirates/samurai. Beyond that, my next priority is Betty, Shiho, Solano, and Rika, though I need to finish capping all of them first.

And I'm up to 900 DCs again.

I'm assuming you've played even before the big break before odette's event. ANd that you're also a paying user. I didn't played in that big period of breaks , and i'm a non paying user.
Actually , i'm guessing that's the main reason you don't care about breaks. Regardless , how many do you think have your resources ....even on this forum ? Probably the few long standing forum users like lafate , charles , tenhou and a few others. The majority of the people that didn't played during the big break are probably at the same spot as i am .....or worse. I'm willing to bet that worse , since i've been quite active , and rarely wasted my stamina/charisma

Bravo, you deduced something that was incredibly obvious. I would've thought me being one of the few people above level 200 was enough of an indicator of how I've been a day one paying player.

But it should be a no-brainer that I'm complaining about breaks now because I suffered through longer breaks back then. I thought I made that clear last time too.

Yes, new players can benefit from the breaks. That's not the fucking point. Once again, that's NOT how the game is supposed to work. Besides the gold rush, the game's pace is not supposed to slow down for new players. Instead of having more events and more things to look forward to, more breaks means everyone ends up hitting a wall sooner or later and having nothing but farming to do. Why do you think more and more people are complaining about the frequent delays?

Breaks a GODSEND to any new player. Its their only hope to catch up in any reasonable timeframe (for free). Even for old-timers its a chance to properly level, smother and play-test their new shiny girlfriend, integrating her into their strategies.

That being said, boosted drops on a break week would be much welcome, but alas, it is not a thing in our version.


Oh, maybe if we just have events extended for anotheer week (to become two weeks total instead of one), it would satisfy everyone? )
