Happened to stumble upon your video of that 3* yesterday. Do you think that going nuts and CC'ing a second mincost Calliope would hurt my chances in the map considering the 10 UP cost instead of 7? Don't have Belinda and Despara though... but have Yuyu and Adele instead.

I knew something was off in the video. You were using buffs, then? That means I will have to use SC even in that situation. Oh well, long term investment I guess. If I ever need to use buffs I'll kill two birds with one stone, considering I already have all the challenge bonuses.

Yeah, I used range + UP buff. Although since the wolves were escaping left, I wonder if I could get better use of Belinda (or in your case, Yuyu), if I put her on the bottom-left spot instead of the center.

But since I doubt your Yuyu is mincost (my Belinda is only -2), and since I only barely managed to place the second Calliope, I'd say yes, using two CC'd Calliopes seems detrimental.

Despara is complete overkill though, I only threw her in there because why not. Adele probably isn't necessary either, but then again, my Cloris is 4/5. At any rate, the second wave is much more manageable than the first, the only problem is actually getting to that point.

Also my memory is stupid, the third Calliope I had was backup. I just decided to go overboard with Despara instead.

Well, managed to beat the first 5 maps with no major difficulties. Sea Monsters gave me a bit of a scare though: going in blind meant I had to improvise 2 additional chokepoints to prevent Marie from dying.

Indeed, my Yuyu has no CR (I can add 1 CR because I have a copy of her). I would probably need a couple max CR'ed Calliopes without CC to nail that first part down. After that it should be a piece of cake. Considering the excessive difficulty to 3-star it though, I think I'll wait for a bit more before I try it. I don't really know what were they thinking when they designed this map. This should be the one before last map, Dwarfs vs Giants 2 being the last one (the most difficult one excluding instakill RNG).

Another Encounter is indeed nasty. I still 3*'d it and the earlier maps on the first try, but damn, you need some serious firepower and healing to avoid getting overwhelmed.

Did anyone confirm Elaine/Calliope instead of Mischa/Nenya yet? Never mind, ULMF confirmed Calliope.

yeah, so irony i got 2 monica in jerome+chizuru spotlight, also they just upgrade game from 1.2.2 to 1.2.3

Got Elaine from first map. I get the feeling I'll need a lot of CC'd units to 3* any maps past the third, so I guess I should be grateful this event lasts two weeks. Maybe I'll be high enough level to at least get the best version of the sailor.
