Thread: The Treacherous Pirate Guide

The fish and the wannabe Mirelurks (walking fishmen) are tougher in the Nutaku version. The swimming ones are more dangerous because their dang Bubble Attack plus lack of movement... you literally have to burst and/or assassinate fools.

Monsters hit hard, that's for sure. So far i have completed the 7 first missions. All were oneshot apart from the 5th where i did not have Phyllis so i accidentally let a goblin past in the start -_-

Hey guys, so I really want to get Beatrika but i'm kinda weak atm. This is what I have for now:

I did map 1 and 2 pretty easily, but I get stomped on 3. Should I CC Daniela and then Iris and Leanne? Think I could make it to 15 stars by the end of the event? I pretty much use all my charisma and stamina everyday.

Well atleast I got 2* this time...but bloody HELL these swimming fish don't let up. If they weren't a part of the map this map would be a cakewalk.

Heres to hoping this 3rd alteration to the 'Event Squad' should do the trick.

All I will say is you should try to CC your HAT team (Healer, Archer, Tank). Are you a Free Player? Read this guide and make it your Guide. It has helped me tremendously over the last 3.5 months.

To answer your question, I would say no. You don't have the Heavy Armors or Healers CC'd/strong enough to get you through conventionally, not to mention the Archers.

Map 8 took three tries.
First try failed because I couldn't predict the paths properly and got stomped hard for it.
Second try failed because I couldn't DPS the last few enemies enough, and the black demon got to Marie.
Third try was a mostly clean pass, though I got screwed by RNG assassination a bit and had to improvise a little. Didn't get any drops this run either.

Map 9... I tried it six times and failed utterly. There's a lot of RNG-reliant assassination going on here, because the opening rush is ridiculous.

You know, normally I don't rate Sybilla that high amongst the various black units available but she really shines during this event.

I'm getting more mileage out of Berna than Sybilla this event.

Though Nanaly/Elizabeth seem to be the MVPs for me so far, and Aria/Julian have lasted fairly long on all maps except G, for obvious reasons.

Take 2 tries with complete drop, Minerva just stomping all those giant Merman rush with her skill, the last map is just RNG Assasination heavy, that's probably why the dev put Minerva in that map.

The merman in the video and merman we got are different, their Aspd in the sea are super increased, that's prob why people at least need 2nd try to clear every map.

Get your CC-ed units to at least Lv30 before moving on to other units. They level fast till then.
Next get a healer and heavy armor to CC30 as well. Then go back to get another healer to CC30.

Your goal should be to get a core team before the end of the event. So you can get beatrika as a replacement till you get spica off the trading post. I'll skip silver archers, because you'll need 3 to CC spica and even more to AW them.

If you still insist on CCing a silver archer, i'll go with the soma that already comes with 30 aff pts. But if you accidently used her as fodder, dont worry. She will be fodder later away unless you are a premium collector, but u need lotsa monies for that.
