I wouldn't call SR Naoe Kagetsuna "really popular". She's perhaps important to a regeneration heavy build, and the only SR general that gets used much at endgame. But she's hardly essential, and she's never been a regular part of my team.

Personally, I build heavily for speed and damage. If someone else builds heavily for speed and damage, I'll probably have more speed and more damage and win. Aargaez is the most notable other high speed, high damage player, though it is what a lot of players try for to some degree, perhaps partially because it clears most PVE content the fastest.

In PVP, some people build instead for reflect damage. Rimuru is perhaps the purest reflect damage build among strong players, though EarthCrimson and Temp lean pretty heavily in that direction, too. I tend to lose to a strong reflect-heavy player, as I might hit for 20k troops, which instant-kills my general from reflect damage, while their general survives because of Takenaka Hanbei or some such.

Reflect-heavy builds are vulnerable to builds that go very heavy on regeneration or lifesteal with more moderate damage. A heavy reflect damage build relies on killing high damage players with reflect damage, but the reflect damage doesn't kill a moderate damage player who can regenerate to compensate for the reflect damage. That's how TruelyNice beat Temp in the finals of the daimyo tournament two weeks ago.

But someone building too heavily for regeneration and lifesteal is open to being destroyed by a high speed, high damage build. Regeneration and lifesteal don't help if you're getting one-shotted. That's why last week, even though TruelyNice was the defending daimyo, I wiped out his entire team in the tournament before he even got to attack.

There is some degree of rock/paper/scissors to it, and winning daimyo depends substantially on luck of drawing opponents you match up well against while avoiding the ones you don't.
It does look like Rock/Paper/Scissor. I wonder what good build suits me. Oh well, time will tell. Thanks for the info, Master Semaphore *bows*

Guess I need to hunt gets some regen then. Thanks again.

Edit: Tried to look for Mononofu wikia / guide but seem to be incomplete. I found this item at Arena and curious what this Bullhorn Helmet do.

Oh as I thought that was the missing EVO card catalog piece which is the volume 2. Sometimes I just look what the items are while the roulette is moving so I just thought that was the missing piece since it's the end stage. Thank you for the correction. Appreciate it XD

You were certainly there for the hatazirushi event, as you were on my friends list well before the event started. It's possible that you weren't yet strong enough to beat the opponents that drop it. It's also decently likely that you could have gotten the item but didn't realize that it was a really nice item and should have been your top priority in what to do while playing during the event until you got one.

There were two opponents that could drop it, with one substantially stronger than the other, and you could only beat them each 30 times per day. The hatazirushi had a drop rate of about 0.5%, so it could easily take several days to get one. But there are far more opponents that you can fight each day than you actually have time to fight, so you have to find the best ones.

In the case of the hatazirushi, I looked it up on the Japanese wiki, which is linked at the start of this thread. I don't know Japanese, and Google translate often comes out fairly garbled. But while you can't count on the name on the Japanese wiki matching the English version, the icons are always identical. From the item effects on the Japanese wiki, it looked like the item (which Google translates as something like "banner flag") might be really nice, so I fought the opponents that drop it until I got one.

Yeah pretty much a weakling. At least you notice me during that event. I also found the site you mention. Good info and I'm surprised there LR rarity. LOL.

With the great soul ticket even drawing to a close, there are a few things that I think are striking. One is that there's a huge dichotomy between players who went all on in farming soul tickets and those that didn't. Aargaez is currently #1, having beaten it 14809 times. I'm #10, with 8035. #15 only has 2150, or barely 1/4 of what I have at #10. If you only count what I've done in the last 15 hours, that would be good for #21 on the list. A lot of people might say, oh, I couldn't beat the boss 8035 times because it takes me 3 attempts or 5 attempts or whatever. But you didn't start 8035 battles, either.

Another interesting thing is that the very top of the list isn't a cluster of the very strongest players. The players in the 7-14 range tend to be much more powerful, both in PVP and PVE, than those in the 1-6 range. The 7-14 range includes 4 of the 5 players who have been daimyo in the last three months, for example, and 3 of the 4 who have completely cleared the PVE campaign. Something similar to this happened the last time this event ran, too. I thought that some players who finished very high then might use their 100+ soul tickets to vault into the top tier and seriously contend for winning daimyo, but it really didn't happen.

In my case, the ticket to the top tier was the water gun event that also gave a lot of SSR EVO cards. I got 12 SSR EVO cards to drop from that event. But rather than spending them on whichever SSR generals seemed nice at the time, I saved them and spent most of them on SSR Takeda Shingen of Kai when I could draw her, sometimes a month or two later. Having a ton of soul tickets helps, but it's no replacement for using your EVO cards on the right generals.

My final observation is that either the drop rate was increased or I was much luckier this time. If you convert all souls dropped from the event to soul tickets, last time, I got about 100 tickets in 6515 wins, or about 1 ticket per 65 wins. This time, I got about 160 soul tickets in 8035 wins, or about 1 ticket per 50 wins. The mix of souls and soul tickets and not having exact counts means that I can't do exact statistical computations. But my intuition is that that difference is likely to be statistically significant, as I've got a large enough sample size.

    You're one lucky player. ^_^

EDIT: It's Maintenance Time, I wonder what's for us.

Now that's one hell of a dungeon this time.

100% assured, 100% achievable way to get UR Evo card.
Buckle up kids, it's grinding time.

And this Kaneko Sword seems to be cherry on top. I think it might be pretty interesting to try it on Tiger of Kai.

    +1 to this post.

Not only you would be able to farm for the ingredients but also you would be able to gather lots of exp cards. Hooray! XD

The Takonamaka Kaneko Sword from last stage of the Halloween event is good too.

Level required is 30. Initial atk at level 0 is 250. Per upgrade level is I think around 40-45 atk bonus. Gives x2 focus fire on the primary target and heal block for 1 round. If worn by Uesugi Kenshin, deals 150% damage (the kaneko from trade is atk bonus). The upgrade cost is the same with Kuniosa sword, sword of light and shadow, modified nanban pistol, etc.

If someone is still undecided about Pumpkin Dungeon, a little observation after first day (not as detailed as Semaphore does, but still)

I cleared 6 of 8 enemies in dung. left first two untouched, because I wanted to see if I can reliably get enough of more rare event items (less rare are easy enough to get so I didn't bother).

So, after 300 attacks how close I am to my UR Evo card? My drops were:

11 out of 20 required Witch Hats
    13 out of 50 Jack-o-lanterns
40 out of 300 Spooky Ghosts
plus those that you get from getting stars on enemies and those from quests.

So YES, you DO WANT to farm this event, and you WANT to melt any koban you have into rations. I've been playing this game around six months and this is the best chance to get UR Evo I have seen.

    EDIT:
I almost forgot. Did I mention crapton of exp cards and ocasional chance for golden tickets?
