I feel like that's even less of a reason to go Crimson. The main purpose of CR is to kill an enemy on the first turn, probably to reduce the stress of 4~5 strong enemies. But if you can't even kill the target in 1 turn in the first place, then it loses even more purpose as it loses its damage boost after that first turn. Dragging out a fight will only add onto how much more damage a BR does over a CR.
