here is my battle formation. It helped me clearing most of difficult maps ( recom 46+ now)

personally im not a fan of archers since pretty much every other unit is more effective..except when using skills which requires archers

also to mention when its called "when leading archer or whatever" it means ur unit has to be archer or whatever not the others
