If someone is still undecided about Pumpkin Dungeon, a little observation after first day (not as detailed as Semaphore does, but still)

I cleared 6 of 8 enemies in dung. left first two untouched, because I wanted to see if I can reliably get enough of more rare event items (less rare are easy enough to get so I didn't bother).

So, after 300 attacks how close I am to my UR Evo card? My drops were:

11 out of 20 required Witch Hats
    13 out of 50 Jack-o-lanterns
40 out of 300 Spooky Ghosts
plus those that you get from getting stars on enemies and those from quests.

So YES, you DO WANT to farm this event, and you WANT to melt any koban you have into rations. I've been playing this game around six months and this is the best chance to get UR Evo I have seen.

    EDIT:
I almost forgot. Did I mention crapton of exp cards and ocasional chance for golden tickets?

A decent chance at UR evo, but at the same time drop rates of those items are so ridiculous low that getting any evo cards will be heavy grinding for the whole event time.

Original Himetsuru Sword from the end is junk. I haven't gotten a Takenomata Kaneko Sword from the end, but that looks like it might be useful for Uesugi Kenshin and useless otherwise. A comment on the Japanese Wiki makes it sound like the damage bonus might also apply to UR Dragon of Echigo. I'll check if I can get one.

Kaneko Sword (P) from the port, on the other hand, looks to me like top tier endgame quality gear. The Google translate of the Japanese wiki didn't make the description clear, but once you check the item's page, people say explicitly that it means a single target attack turns into two targets, two turns into three, and three turns into four.

Throw in that you increase Uesugi Kenshin's attack by 150% and that also turns Uesugi Kenshin into a top tier general worth comparing to Tiger of Kai, Sanada Yukitaka, and Master Strategist. I'll have to test it when I get one to see if that's really what it's doing. As of yesterday, Uesugi Kenshin was really only useful for reflect damage.

The opponents are also notably easy, so I pull all but Master Strategist off the team so that the battles can end faster rather than having to wait for a bunch of skills to stack.

The Kaneko Sword (P) is the key loot from this event. If you ignore it because you're chasing a UR EVO card, you forever forfeit the right to complain about having missed events. There are lots of sources of UR EVO cards, but not many of top of the line weapons. So you might as well pick up five of them, or at least three or four depending on how many characters who attack 4+ at a time you expect to have on your team.

I don't know if i'm just getting bad luck or what but I don't think getting more than 2 or 3 at most of UR evo cards is going to happen even if u farm it every day for whole event. THe ghosts just do not seem to drop often enough to be able to support 300 of them for one trade. I currently have 52 ghosts 15 pumpkins and 12 witch hats after clearing the whole thing, and that is including the bonuses you get. So I really do not see how you can possibly collect enough for the UR cards to be the main focus. The sword looks way too powerful to pass up even for non Kenshin generals, adding an additional attack to every general would be so incredibly powerful. And as previous posters have said you can get UR cards from other sources, and this seems to be one of the best weapons in the game and not able to be gotten elsewhere.

Hmmm... I'll pick up 3 of this since 2 of them are Elite Archers (Onne is Master Strategst and the other is Cyclops). What about that Demon Hair Band?

    Also, I like this event.

To Sir Semaphore: Takenomata Kaneko - Adds Focus Fire x2 and a Heal-block mark to the target, lasts for one round. Increase DMG by 150% when equipped to ??? (Kenshin?). (Sorry, no idea drag to second part.)

I really don't think the hairband is that great. The regen could be sorta useful i suppose but I much prefer the sparrow tail hood for that purpose, especially since the 10% extra regen is random who it targets. So there is a decent chance of getting almost no value other than the flat 5%. Not to mention it cuts into the very limited supply of pumpkin and witch hats needed for swords and ur cards.

Alright. I'll just focus on Kaneko Sword and UR Evo from the Trade. Thanks for the help.

It's not that great, but it's probably superior to Original Zho Zhuan, at least if equipped by Uesugi Kenshin. I wouldn't make it my first priority, but the UR EVO card requires a ton of spooky ghosts, so many that you're probably only able to get one UR EVO card out of the event. It doesn't require so many witch hats or jack-o-lanterns to get the UR EVO card, so once you've gotten that and as many Kaneko Swords as you care to, you'll likely have enough items left over to get a Demon Hair Band or three if you want them. I'd wait until toward the end of the event after you've gotten everything else you wanted to make sure that you have items left over, though. It sure would be annoying to buy the hair bands first and end up one witch hat or jack-o-lantern short of being able to get the UR EVO card at the end of the event.

I just thought the same thing. I was planning to buy another Playful Kaneko but I decided to wait until the end. Who knows I might need UR EVO. Hehehe (Uhmmm... Remind me what Zho Zhuan do?)
BTW, I almost surpassed you in World Event Ranking earlier but decide not to because I respect you. Also, you're kind enough.
And something bugs me during this event. I'm not sure if I'm lucky or not but I get a lot of Takeda Nobushige SSR at Silver and more on Gold. Weird. (I wanted M. Strategist, Kenshin Uesagi and Tiger of Kai. huhuhu)
