When equipped, both have 3k atk and both are near to 3.1k... I just checked and its not on the same order as I was kinda sleepy that time XD

Nodachi Collection (level 40, 990 atk)

    Normal attack - 1909 (2nd round)
With ghost ninja proc - 2863 (2nd round)

Takenomata Kaneko (level 15, 970 atk)

    Normal attack - 2832 (2nd round)
With ghost ninja proc - 4131 (1st round)

Guess after that I was rewarded with an Ultra Exp Card but I don't know where I got that haha. I was just farming either at the last 2 stages and on the stage that has the Platinum Ticket drop
Thanks for the data. That sure looks like "deals 150% damage", not "increases damage by 150%", which would mean dealing 250% damage. I got one myself now and can read the end of the description as "Increases DMG by 150% when equipped by Uesugi", but that's probably a botched translation or a bad tooltip or something.

I'll have to check on whether the Kaneko Sword (P) is also "deals 150% attack" rather than what the tooltip of "Attack is increased by 150% when equipped by Uesugi Kenshin" says. I have one of those now as well, but need to level it up a ways for a cleaner comparison with existing gear.

If both weapons are really a 50% damage boost, not 150%, then that's a lot less interesting, in part because you have to use a not overly strong general to get the boost. Kaneko Sword should still be quite good for the effect of attacking an extra target, assuming that that isn't also restricted to Uesugi Kenshin and possibly Dragon of Echigo.

By the way, the character card that the sixth opponent can drop is a medium soul card, not a general or EVO card. I'm guessing that the cards that some other opponents drop is also a medium soul card.

After further consideration, I think it's interesting that the great soul ticket event did vastly more to strengthen my defense team than my offense team, or at least it will once I've leveled up the new generals. On the offense team, it let me replace Mori Motonari with SSR Naoe Kagetsuna, and an inherited Tiger of Kai by yet another Takeda Shingen of Kai. Both of those are good, but nothing revolutionary.

On my defense team, however, my new lineup will be some five of Tiger of Kai (demoted from being inherited by the offense team), Sanada Yukitaka (got another one to four stars), Uesugi Kenshin, Dragon of Echigo (got one to four stars), Cyclops (got one to four stars), and Mori Motonari. All of those except for Uesugi Kenshin would be new to my defense team. Throw on a newly inherited Takeda Shingen of Kai, an inherited Sasaki Kojiro (for first strike) and a Kaneko Sword (for a third target) for each of Tiger of Kai and Sanada Yukitaka, and maybe I can finally convince Ghot5Nevermore to stop attacking me in arena nearly every single night.

Let's throw some additional data in here. Four weapons options:

    1) Nothing
    2) Level 0 Takenomata Kaneko
    3) Level 15 Kaneko Sword (P)
    4) Level 65 Water Gun

Attack the fifth opponent of the Pumpkin Dream event with an elite marksman in a solo group and check only the damage dealt to the front target.

Level 55 Uesugi Kenshin, with an inherited SR Naoe Kagetsuna healing skill and no gear equipped besides a weapon:

    No weapon: 3094
    Takenomata Kaneko: 5094
    Kaneko Sword (P): 6294
    Water Gun: 6547

Level 45 Dragon of Echigo (four stars), with no inherited general and no gear equipped besides a weapon:

    No weapon: 2661
    Takenomata Kaneko: 4444
    Kaneko Sword (P): 5643
    Water Gun: 6110

Level 55 Saitoh Dohsan, with no inherited general and no gear equipped besides a weapon:

    No weapon: 2066
    Takenomata Kaneko: 2259
    Kaneko Sword (P): 2819
    Water Gun: 4291

Level 55 Takeda Shingen of Kai, with an inherited Takeda Shingen of Kai and also having a level 65 Golden Armor, level 65 Hatazirushi, and level 20 Perfect Buddha Statue equipped:

    No weapon: 9070
    Takenomata Kaneko: 9475
    Kaneko Sword (P): 10640
    Water Gun: 13738

Both Uesugi Kenshin and Dragon of Echigo are clearly getting some large bonuses from both the Takenomata Kaneko and Kaneko Sword (P) that Takeda Shingen of Kai and Saitoh Dohsan are not. I'd be inclined to call it a flat 150% damage from the Takenomata Kaneko, not an extra 150% damage.

I'm less inclined to say that that's the case case for attack, however. The attack ratings for Dragon of Echigo are:

    No weapon: 2685
    Kaneko Sword (P): 4146
    Water Gun: 6904

If you assume 150% attack on the Kaneko Sword (P), that puts you at 6219 attack. The attack gap between Kaneko Sword (P) and Water Gun is still larger than the damage gap. You'd expect it to be the other way around, as Water Gun also decreases the defense of the enemy. If you assume 250% attack, which is how I'd read the tooltip, you're at 10365 attack, which should be way more than a Water Gun.

For what it's worth, the cards in the fourth and fifth opponents of Pumpkin Dream are small soul cards, not medium soul cards. Still soul cards, though.

Complicated but I think I understand a bit. Thanks for the info.

BTW, what is the best job for Uesagi Kenshin for Temple User? Also, I don't get what these Inheritor Gem for. I inherent a SR General but the Gem is still on my inventory. What's the point of this?

Yeah its just a 50% boost on either atk or dmg on the two kaneko swords. Also read the latter posts of yours and I guess Takenomata is as good as replacement for Legendary Mumei Sword and other weapons whose general level requirement is 45 or below. The two Kaneko Swords are excellent for Kenshin but only the Kaneko Sword (P) can be an optional weapon for extra firepower. Takenomata Kaneko is only good disabling the hp regen of primary target opponent and can be a built in sideboard/meta for pvp.

The water gun is better than the Kaneko Sword (P) because the latter is of low level. If its the same level as of the water gun then there would be a huge difference in attack rating. But in pvp, I guess water gun would be the best weapon of choice.

Ok, so a question from a little different topic.

Is there a general that is particulary good to be garrisoned in residence?
In barracs for example there is SR Naoe Kanetsugu that has skill increasing troop recruitment. Is tehere similar general for residence?

Or if not for what actually should I look for when assigning there? Not that I hava big choice. I just put someone who I have eveolved to 4 stars and can't fit into my team.

SR Shibata Katsuie is the one you're looking for. At level 55, she offers a 70% bonus to coins from the residence. And yes, the level of the general matters, not just whether she's four stars.

That much I know, I was just wondering if I can improve income more somehow. Thx for the info.
