I've heard opposing accounts on the subject of privacy conscientiousness between Firefox and Chrome. I haven't had a problem with Chrome and never got to try out Firefox, so my opinion will be biased.

Chrome doesn't support Unity, so you don't have much of an option. I didn't want to use Firefox either but after trying it to test difference between it and Chrome for the game, I couldn't help but use it cause the it's just way better. It's not like the ~100 MB it takes up is problematic.
I'm quite anti-bloatware too, which is why I didn't want to use it originally.
I thought it did... when the game 'Don't Starve' used to be Chrome only, did it not run on Unity? Maybe, maybe not this was years ago now. What about Java, does Firefox use Java?
I share the same sentiment, I really don't like things that I do not need.
