First and most important, before we go ANY further - do NOT use the WebGL version. Download the unity plugin (https://unity3d.com/webplayer) and use firefox (unity doesn't work on chrome) to open this game. Trust me, I struggled a lot with the WebGL version on chrome and it is buggy, unstable, and terrible. This alone will make your life 100x easier.

1) Go through tutorial missions. Don't worry even if the tutorial mission tells you to pull from the 90 gold gacha: I had 50 gold and I was able to pull from it - the tutorial pull doesn't take any money.

TIP: Don't worry if you don't get any high rank characters from your first couple of pulls. All characters that don't have [EXP] on their names can be eventually upgraded to the highest field in the game [UR], simply by feeding duplicates. Right now I have 4 SSR and am almost done with a UR, and I have never pulled anything over a rare on the platinum pulls. The most desirable pulls aren't high ranked characters, anyway, cause you can get ranks by upgrading. The most desirable characters are ones with the + property next to their names. Those characters have significantly higher stats and when upgraded to the highest rank will be much stronger.

2) Play through main storyline until you get the two SR girls (Alette and Lisette?) from completing the second mission set. Should take you like 10 minutes tops.

TIP: Turn on "autodeploy" and "autoskill" on the bottom right corner

TIP: Recruit groups of 10 as soon as you get the money for it.

3) Start the timed event missions. They're all really easy and require very little grinding, if at all, to complete. They also reward you with some of the first decent units you get outside of the beginner SRs. Personally I suggest doing Francette and Sin's missions first in the "timed event" area, because they require you to only finish 3 sets of 4 battles each to get a decent unit. These are the Serian Assassin and the Swordswoman Note that some missions will bug out: even though they say you need to "A" or "S" the last mission, you need to S the last mission in order to get that bonus - I've had A several times and not been able to get the bonus.

TIP: After you've recuited a couple of dozen girls from the silver exchange.... Exchange every girl with [EXP] and at the [N] level except for unique units (you can uncheck the "unique units" box to make sure you don't sell them), and keep all the + units you get. Do NOT ever level up [EXP] units. You cannot rank them up, so even the shittiest [N] unit has higher endgame potential than any [EXP] unit you'll ever pull. Just exchange them. You won't use your silver for much else until MUCH later in the game, so go ahead and go crazy with your recruiting. Exchanging girls gives you exp that you can use to instantly level girls you obtain later. I personally use that exp mostly for leveling fodder to the minimum level I need to upgrade to R/SR units with the rank up system.

Tip: Put in the highest rank + units and normal units you obtain in your formation. Ten of the 10k silver pulls should give you a bunch of SR units to play with. It's okay to put in lower rarity units if they're + or event or story units, though. Always put in a + unit if you're deciding between a + unit and a normal unit. You don't need to worry if you don't pull an SSR at first, you can upgrade most girls to SSR just by enhancing them and leveling them, and the really important units are not the SSR, but the + units, since they have enhanced stats once you get them to their highest upgrade level.

4) The witch event requires you to finish 2 stages, each stage with 3 sets of 4 battles each to get the halloween lilium unit, but the unit you REALLY want is the halloween lilium+ unit, which is only accessible in the after festival stages after you finish the witch event. The after festival stages will get you reputation points, and you need 1k reputation points to get witch lilium+. You do NOT get reputation for the witch stages, only the after festival stages.

TIP: SR and higher units have "leader skills" that you can put in the first slot of the formation (where they do not attack, and stay back) to activate. Since some SR units have really high stats, though, like Lisette and Alette, you might see more benefit sending them into the frontlines than taking advantage of their minor movement buffs.

5) Once you get witch lilium+, start leveling her. All + units have higher stats than normal, so they're more desirable in general. If you decide to get all the event rewards, you can rank one of your witch lilium units up several ranks (I think to UR? Dunno, haven't finished all of it yet) by feeding all the other witch liliums to her. The one you want to keep is the Witch Lilium+, the others you want to feed into her to rank her up.

6) Go ahead and use every platinum ticket you get. You probably won't get anything special, but guaranteed R is nice I guess. I got four Rs from my platinum pulls so far lol, not even a + unit. Sigh.

TIP: Once your units have maxed out their experience, either rank them up OR switch them out to something you can rank up, so that the exp you get is not wasted.

TIP: Once you've progressed far enough, you will unlock a "Sacred Treasure" a sword named Amityaba or whatever from the mission rewards. If you equip it on your formation leader (leftmost character in the middle lane) then its ability will be equipped and you can use that instead of counter fire.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is as far as I've gotten. I plan on grinding through the event to obtain as many witch liliums as possible, upgrading as many units to SSR/UR as possible, and then going through the storyline. Special thanks to 黒神 in the chat, for answering the questions for a lot of people in turn and teaching me a lot of this stuff.

My Brave Girl Ravens invitation code is 1904650. You can enter this by going to the menu option in the top right corner of your screen and hitting the "coupon" tab. You get a small silver bonus for doing this. I have no idea what rewards *I* get for it, if at all, but I thought I'd put it in here just in case. If I helped you at all, feel free to put in the invitation code on the off-chance there's some use to it.

Good luck to you all. If you have any questions, feel free to post them and I'll try and answer them when I can.

Festival Sorceress 6:

Just grind until you are rank 30 on everyone, then charge. Nothing difficult here, just a little bit of time required.

After the Festival Advanced:

Get everyone to level 40. Put your strongest characters in the middle (suggestion: Halloween Lilium+ and Francette+ - the only two + characters guaranteed by the game for you). Put an ATK up character as the middle formation leader (I used Josephie). Equip the Amityaba sword on Josephie for the skill (blood of demonia is awesome). You get Amityaba from the mission tab by rushing missions over and over I believe. It's a sacred treasure and the first item you get with a skill. Pop blood of demonia at the start, kill everything.

After the Festival Highly Advanced:

Get everyone to level 50 or above. Put Halloween Lilium+ and Francette+ in the middle. Equip them with your best weapons. Put Josephie as formation leader (or someone else with high attack). At the start of the match, turn off autoskill but leave autodeploy on. Pop impure miasma, rush at enemy, pop elvish pranks as soon as you hit 250 sp (to seal enemy skills) and then the enemy boss should die before the seal wears off, unable to use their massive aoe skills to kill you. If you're having trouble, level up your units a bit more and give all your attack/speed items to francette and witch lilium so they can kill faster.
