While I don't disagree that Nutaku and developers have their faults, passing all the blame to everyone but the consumer is kind of ignorant. The stuff you mentioned is just trivial stuff that would have been worked out given enough time. All these companies are in to make money. People just didn't spend enough money, which is fine because that is just the way the market works.

It really dosen't have to be more complicated than that.

I know, right? I'm using facts that you can find when you look for BGR stuff, and filling in the blanks with what a logical business would think, but people still pretend that a game going for an entire year without new content is because Nutaku was handcuffed and the devs were sitting on it.

No, the devs did good work with the original title and porting the marriage system over.

Nutaku, on the other hand...I'm not sure what you can call it when a publisher refuses to localize more content and hides a game that they're responsible for in the darkest corner of the site. "Of course, it's Nutaku..." comes to mind.
