While I don't disagree that Nutaku and developers have their faults, passing all the blame to everyone but the consumer is kind of ignorant. The stuff you mentioned is just trivial stuff that would have been worked out given enough time. All these companies are in to make money. People just didn't spend enough money, which is fine because that is just the way the market works.

It really dosen't have to be more complicated than that.
I know, right? I'm using facts that you can find when you look for BGR stuff, and filling in the blanks with what a logical business would think, but people still pretend that a game going for an entire year without new content is because Nutaku was handcuffed and the devs were sitting on it.

No, the devs did good work with the original title and porting the marriage system over.

Nutaku, on the other hand...I'm not sure what you can call it when a publisher refuses to localize more content and hides a game that they're responsible for in the darkest corner of the site. "Of course, it's Nutaku..." comes to mind.

OK you piqued my interest. Where and when did Nutaku "refuses to localize more content". As for the "darkest corner", I know what your getting at. But it still doesn't change the fact that the game stopped being popular (if it really was to begin with).

Nutaku BGR didn't get new characters or story for an entire year. The content was there, the story had an extra 9 chapters worth. All that was needed was a translation.

Right until the end, maintenance occurred every 2 weeks with proper gacha and event changeups.

Now then, the one who was responsible for translating the content was...Nutaku. Look up SuperHippo and you'll see that localization wasn't the responsibility of the Japanese developers.

...Anyway, from your language that's practically arguing for the sake of arguing, it's pretty obvious you haven't even played BGR, why are you even on this thread anyway? Instead of kicking a dead game for the laughs, find a better use for your time.

I wouldn't call rotating what was already there a big deal.

Dosen't mean that the developer gave the rights to the new content. I don't see why Nutaku would waste resources keeping a game on life support if the only thing they had to do was translate content 0_o...

    Nostalgia

Really curious if anyone will even respond to this but hey, I figured why not try? Anyway, I played this game a couple of years ago and recently got in the mood to revisit it. Does anyone know at all if it can still be played since it's been shut down and all.

It's now on its last maintenance... Shutdown already announced by the end of October
