Well, we took a week because the stamina regen is retarded, but actually, if we could do 2 missions per hour (for instance), we would have done it in 2 days.

It just occurred to me that we could avoid the factions war problem if we just made it so that at the start of each week your faction is randomly selected so that each has about the same amount of players. At around the middle point of the week they could give a underdog bonus, maybe something like 200 extra points to 4th 100 to 3rd and 50 to 2nd although it might be too much or too little. The point being, to avoid having 1st place being rock solid. I liked the idea that some pero events had where you had these 3 factions but 2nd and 3rd place get an insane triple and double points bonus, which meant that it was difficult to determine who was going to win. On the other hand this might not work for this game since tickets are way more limited obviously so the underdog bonuses couldnt be as insane as that. Another idea i heard was that they could change it so "in general" everyone gets a smaller reward and a "personal" reward is given in accordance to how well you did. What do you guys think?
Interesting. The game is still not available.
So a little longer and there will be no reason to play in it - some canadians became too powerful for "honest" PvP.
I think what he means is that by the time we reach the game there will already be people with "good" squads that know how to play the game to get the most amount of points and have already decided what their faction is. It feels as if it was their playground and they show us the ropes while we were just visitors. The game isnt doing too well in the canadian version anyway so i wonder what the future holds for it. and sure, its just a soft launch meant to balance and see whats up with the player base but you could say the same thing about phantasmia and that game has been no.1 for the last 2 days.
Unless the point system changes that doesn't really matter either. They'll lose out on their first week if they don't join Eastern Coalition, and for following weeks they'll just come to the winning team with the rest of us.
The only real advantage from a competitive standpoint is knowing to choose Eastern Coalition.
Why did everyone choose eastern coalition anyway? Just randomly happened to win the first time so everyone went for it the second time?
