    i not not remember what mission is what #. screenshots probably help. but i think i remember that mission. the first time, i think i ended up having to chase around this fighers for like 20 extra rounds waiting for them to randomly get close to my anti-air vehicles. i tried it again and somehow held back my copters out of range of the fighters in the beginning, waiting for individual fighters to get close enough to destroy them while they were isolated. also try to heal up your copters if possible with the special, or if you have a healing captain. i think there are a couple missions like this later on.

    Seems like another stealth nerf - first they turned amelia into crap captain.. now they removed mid tanks from sergeant.. those are so annoying when you spent effort on leveling up certain team members and they become useless....

    I suppose new best sergeants are the artillery ones.. lucy and sara are both ok options, both are specialized in defence too, which ain't bad.

    hmm now that you mention it you're right that one Eastern Coalition Sergeant lost her midtank call-in. Side-note how does one beat mission 51 i keep getting rolled so hard each attempt

    Girls on Tanks

    I love this game, but it's so unbalanced right now. We really need map previews, or at least airports and factories number. Did the designers even play to advance wars ? Cause they forgot a lot of balancing solutions !

    I'm at mission 77 and it's start to be challenging, especially if I play without healing or tanks abilities (they are way too OP).

    I have a few things to say to the game designers :

    1 : So few factories => Infantry build unavailable. You need at least 4 or 5 factories to have a good enough infantry overrun. And the lack of transports make them even worse. Motorcycles are way more useful right now. At least spawn infantry twice at once, if you don't want to change the maps. To avoid the transport problem, maybe you should airdrop them on friendly cities if you want to keep the current game speed (and have an unique playstyle compared to AW).

    2 : No map preview => Air build unavailable. You don't even know if you will have air units at all... Same goes for artillery build. A minimap or at least the number of friendly airport and factories would be nice.

    3 : These commander powers... +5 health is way too OP. You don't even have to worry about your army, you just have to rush. -5 HP on enemy units is also OP. You should at least make them only hit tanks or ground units. I use this power to take down airships with my tanks xD Range +5 could be useful if you had time, but you don't. Artillery units should shoot once then move. Right now it's pretty useless and it dies against anything. Damn, it's a 4k vehicle, not an infantry !

    4 : Some lieutenants are awful. Defense on wastelands, really ? Mountains are meh, but wastelands have bad defense and aren't on most maps !

    5 : And these sergeants... In my opinion, only the "midtank against heavy", or "artillery against midtank" seem really useful on all maps... Some even seem suicid : Copters vs DCA, with only +25%, really ? If it was +50%, I would have understood, but +25% is suicide. you can make +25% defense, to make them die in two attacks instead of one, maybe.

    6 : Your awards are so weird right now. Why would we pay for chests which only give xp and creds, when you can farm it in every game mode ? And the level up...

    7 : Playing faction wars on hard is neither hard nor useful. And you get half the rewards.

    8 : The story mode is too easy right now. If you end under 10 turns, you're sure to get the 3 stars. So if you don't want to play a map, you just have to rush the enemy HQ with a suicide squad.

    9 : The heavy tank is trash. Why would you pay twice the cost of a medium tank for +10 attack and + 10 defense ? At least make him at 6k, like fighters.

    10 : You should prevent from taking a city in one turn if you don't have full life. The computer can't stop you from taking HQ if you cage your guy or distract it far enough. It seems like cheating right now.

    11 : You should make cooldowns for your C/S/L powers. Having an Heavy Tank or an artillery since day 1 is overpowered. Especially on no-factory maps.

    12 : Eastern Coalition rolls over anyone. Not the best Weekly event move.

    Don't remember it exactly - had it 3 star from the get go, unlike mission 49.. but my main team I usually 'progress' with is Karina commander lvl 4, Nari as captain lvl 3, astrid level 2(very important not to get her to lvl 3 or it will be random between mid and heavy tank), sergeant used to be the one to summon mid tank(back when I beat that mission) now it's an artillery summoning one lvl 2.

    Commander karina is very important to be at least lvl 3 - your tanks get more damaging and getting 1st strike in means you will damage more before you get damaged or even outright killing the target... during her ability even your 3-5 hp mid/heavy tanks will utterly crush everything that moves..

    Nari - I love that one, she has random chance to heal all your tanks at the end of each turn and she has skill which pretty much almost destroys 1 enemy - only use this ability on heavy tank that might get 1st damage on your tank or use it on air units if you are bad with anti air at the moment and air units endanger you.

    Astrid - makes your mid tanks vs heavy tanks match up be almost equal and calls heavy tank at lvl 2.. nothing better you can wish for.. do not get her lvl 3 and you will be fine(lvl 4 might be worth it already if you can rush straight to it, because her stats increase and her passive is very good)

    Sergeants - still unsure which one to get now that mid tank drop got removed... the easiest one to get that comes to mind is artillery drop in lvl 2 unit.. worse than mid tank for sure, but better than nothing. If you have a sergeant lvl 5 with dmg on 1 target, if you go for such sergeant - take cassandra, she has very good passive(+5% def at lvl 5) - might be worth it to weaken an important target.. but I still think artillery should be better.

    Nothing, sorry, I thought the OP tank spawning abilities were removed on your version.

    Nari's heal isn't good enough. You often take his on your midtanks and they will have 4 or 6hp taken in one shot. If you're on a city, it will be enough, but it's still depending on luck. You should consider the Amber + Catherine combo, making one or two 5hp heals per turn. It will be really useful, especially in no-factory missions (like Mission 77).

    Astrid is a must have. It allows you to turn your midtanks into heavy tanks if you make the first move. It will be really helpful, because the 60+ missions often have 4 to 10 Heavy tanks.

    My best sergeants are :
    Camilla on defense missions, with infantry tanking damage on mountains while my midtanks do the rest.
    Erika on big fights. She hasn't the tank abilty but the +10% defense in plain is really useful.
    Wanda on every mission. +10% damage in cities allows you to turn them into tanking zones. Just put tanks in it and wait until the other army fall apart.
    Sara when the others are injured. +10% defense in forests and artillery/DCA unit. Allways helpful because heavy tanks and bombers are legion in 60+ missions.
    I use Nariko sometimes, but she is worthless with Amber's ability.

    Edit : Damn, you're right ! Just refreshed and all their abilities are changed... My list is wrong now ^^

    As a matter of fact they were... only the sergeant tank spawning ability, that is.. happened after I refreshed randomly.

    The lieutenant ones still remain
