Thread: New Upcoming Game: Crystal Maidens

Lv2 to 3 elemental building jumped to 5 hours.

Anyways, wow that stage 12 in hard mode. The 2 last enemies stack up together because their AI or something and the enemy's Nuka likes to heal both while basically one shotting anyone who comes in range because her skill does that and as defense is near useless at my current point in game. Jeez.

Cheesed through it by going straight for the artifact. First time I ever got 1 star on a stage.

It could differ per building but..

Just upgraded my level 3 fire shrine to 4; 5 hours.
Research Academy went from level 2 to 3; took 1 hour.

It really doesn't matter anyway unless at some point it could take up several days but I don't know if the upgrades even go that far.
I would think after 5 hours comes 10 and after that maybe 15/20 or an entire day.. don't know how quickly it would ramp up.

That's quite a jump.. not too unreasonable though but it does make me wonder how much it'd be for higher tiers.

I totally overlooked the discord button in game or at least just didn't take not of it.. now that I do though, clicking on it doesn't do anything; same with the Facebook icon. I would suggest on discord to have it fixed or looked at but you know.. ^^;

You are in some way blocking either Advertisements or pop ups or both - this blocks the use of the button obviously, since it opens a new window.
Both discord and facebook buttons are working just fine on chrome for sure. And I did have the same pop up blocking problem of course.

My bad, it was Lv3 to 4. Been logging on less and less for this game, not really motivated to do hard, regular at least rewarded with a random girl.

I honestly did not see the words 'Popup Blocked' in the right corner of the address bar until you mentioned that ._. Usually it would show either of my blockers lit up with the number of popups blocked but it was a different more subtle icon this time. Meh, I'm blaming it on the fact that it was close to bedtime when I posted that. (＃￣ω￣)

I can see how it can become a bit of a drag without any clear incentive(s).. not sure if they'll come up with events to keep things interesting in the future. Probably not during the soft-launch period though.

So while the rest of us wait for the global launch, would the beta players say this is the best (or "best") of Nutaku's western games thus far?

It has its flaws, it has some balance issues, but it's a nice game worthy of being played.

I would say it's fun game, but it suffers from the same flaw the girls on tanks does - the game has limited content, and it will take more time than usual to add more.

Just like girls on tanks - you can beat everything if you no life it within 1-2 weeks. I am quite sure that at least one person aside of me already finished the last stage of hard difficulty a few days ago(earlier than I did).. not sure if more did it, but it's not that hard to do, even if you are unlucky and only have starter party maidens, which aren't that bad tbh.. so I wouldn't be surprised.
You can increase maximum energy as your player level increases, so eventually(not soon) you will reach a point where it will take like 6-8 hours to fill, which is good enough..

The gameplay is fun in the sense that skill really matters - I could easily go from failing map to beating map with half the time left just by 'doing better'...
It still has some balance issues, but it does not prevent you from progressing till the end in any way.

The maidens are few(15 of them total, 3 being legendary), and each has one scene, you get 4 starter ones, so that's over quarter done already.. but the scenes are quite nicely drawn, even though they are non animated, which is a slight downside.
There is legendary gacha for 500 gems, which only awards the best 'legendary' quality. Has nice chance for a legendary maiden(around 20%-40% chance, but don't quote me on that)..
You can get duplicate maidens, which is a downside..(gives nothing you can't grind in return)

Developers do a lot of fixes/changes daily and listen to players.. so by the time you will get the game, it will be more fleshed out, but probably won't have much more content...

I would say harem heroes will still remain the 'biggest' decent western game. Much more content there and loads of events.

This one is still above the others, but just like girls on tanks - you will slowly lose interest when you reach the end content, which can be reached quite fast.

Well it's somewhat subjective really but I'd say in terms of being unique and non-intrusive on pushing you to cash out, I'd put it on the same level as Harem Heroes but with seemingly more 'depth'. HH it's always just spam adventure, drain battle on NPCs for possible drops, collect your coins and buy the uncommon XP books and gifts, whilst waiting for that new girl drop to max out and continue the routine (for me at least).

Not saying that any of the other games are that much different in terms of being 'repetitive' but on CM at least there's some kind of interactive combat; gear, skill and level progression per girl; you have your upgradable town and it feels like you're actually growing. I don't know, I'd say it feels more interactive than HH if anything. I finished the last stage a day or so ago and got another new maiden from it, Coral. I'm now farming stages to fully gear them all and get gems to get them to full romance them as well (for the stat boosts of course ;3).

Other than that, the free gacha which refreshes every 7 hours with 3 max charges is pretty solid as well. 7 hours per charge is more than decent and you can actually get legendaries from it.. on that note, I actually got a legendary gear drop from it just now, and I had another one drop from it yesterday. Not sure what the chances are but it's there regardless. (￣︶￣)

So yeah, I mean if I were to compare it to all the other western games here; it could be considered as one of the 'best' for me personally.

You are a bit mean to compare with Girls on tanks which is fondamentaly flawed. GoT doesn't even have good bases. The game can't progress and will stay flawed at its core.

It's completely different for CM. I mean, there is a lack in content, but that's all. The whole system is here, and it's good. No bullshit system like this faction war, no bullshit system² like this "pay to evolve da girlz".
CM just need more content, some balancing (skills especially) and it's good to go. GoT needs a complete overhaul, and since they weren't able to do a good job while stealing the whole battle system, I doubt they can do it.
