Once they decided to not reset upon global release they fucked over everyone who was waiting for it, and every additional delay just pounds it deeper.

I don't really see why that's an issue. Even if there's some form of competitive gameplay where being farther along is an advantage, that can easily be addressed in at least 3 ways off the top of my head.
1. Segregate the player base
2. Handicap the players
3. Give new players some sort of perk. (Unique Maidens or somesuch)
It's ok to do a limited beta of a few weeks, what we looking at now in months?
No reset mean there can NEVER be non segregated competitive events - I mean if it's like FKG where there is no competition then fine, if it's the top 1k players get X, then I'd stop playing 1st event
Maybe, depends if having an experienced team is needed to get top 1k. Don't know much about game, (obviously) but if they did something where you need event units to get the most points or w/e, then old players would be on about the same footing as new, everybody starting off with "fresh" units.
But they've had events already.
Event
and it was a horrible grindfest that I doubt anyone bothered with.
Like 2 weeks late news since I'm sure not much people care at this point but game supposedly going to come out December.
