I started trying to remember to do the daily pre-reg so yeah sure, I try it when it comes out...if it ever comes out.

BUT what will they do about the pre-release and even the daily gift mountain for the faithful few?

Not much?

Assuming there is any sort of PvP, they can simply relegate the Beta players to a different server, (like pretty much every browser "MMO" that's essentially a power race does. Starting off a new server every few weeks so new players stand a chance.)

As for those who have continued logging it to pre-register, they REALLY don't need to worry about. They have no unfair advantage, every single other person could have done the same. For those who didn't it's simply like joining a game shortly after it started.

IMO, the whole issue has been blown massively out of proportion.

you are assuming the "Faithful few" will GET that daily gift mountain. Although it was possible to find the pre-registration link after Nutaku stopped displaying it, there is no guarantee that the company has been keeping track, and didn't purge that list back in april, and restart it in November... Several of the other games on Nutaku regularly purge their gift lists over 30 days, and I had thought Storage problems was one of the reasons Crystal Maidens has been in Alpha 2 so long...

Maybe. I guess I assumed they were simply adjusting the amount of each currency in your "account", and then you'd get one message when you start that says "As a bonus for preregistering, you're starting off with extra currency", possibly calculating what you have vs. what is normal to specify just how much extra. Giving you each one as an individual gift would have just been nuts, even if the pre-reg period was only a month. (which is normalish)

I suppose players who are in Canada may know/remember how they handled it though for sure.

They updated the pre-reg to also give a +1 ring of patience.

........well, they get brownie points for a sense of humour.

They ought to be paying us Nutaku gold to play it at this point.
