Hmm, now that I've had some time with the game, I think my biggest gripe is it's extremely hard to pick up the one girl you actually want to pick up.

It would be a significant improvement if you could pickup a girl via her portrait at the bottom even when already deployed. (and yes, I send them that feedback)

Just curious, I assume the 10+1 premium with legendary guaranteed, there is no guarantee the legendary is actually a maiden?

(doubt anybody has tried it, but doesn't hurt to ask)

Is there really just a trickle of gems that makes any gacha other than the free one pretty much unobtainable?

Game is literally unplayable due to being unable to quickly complete battles you've already won 3 stars on. And considering how atrocious gear drop rates are, such an option is practically a must. The game got mindbogglingly boring quick because I have to manual fight each and every map I want to try and grind some crummy equipment on. No, thanks. I don't enjoy the art style enough to subject myself to such constant torture.

I really don't understand why they chose to force your units to run blindly forward at all times. It's anti-fun. It removes positioning and is just bad design. Cut the lane game shit for a simple Dungeon Siege style control scheme and you'd have yourself a game. Also the item system is... bad. Drops being map specific means sacrificing xp to do map 1-1 ten times to get that one damn necklace. Just... the f'k? No. No I'm not doing that. How is that even going to work if they add new units? Art's good but everything else feels kind of spartan and linear.

The game is kinda... bad. Leaving aside the time wasted daily for bonus i didn't get,i'm disappointed.
We waited so much for THAT thing? A crappy childish manual game?
Go home devs. I played similar game engines ages ago.

Honestly, I don't mind the gameplay all that much, I think the whole left to right thing adds a weird sort of strategy aspect you wouldn't otherwise get. Get one guy far enough forward so you can deploy others behind a wall sort of thing.

That said, yes. I don't really *want* deep gameplay from my web games, I have real non-web games for that. These are stuff I play while waiting for loads or spawns or whatnot in other real games.

(Note: I haven't made any attempt whatsoever to grind for gear, I just take what I get. So far the only "good" gear has come from the gacha, which I expect will continue to be true.)

And yeah, a way to quick play missions you've already done would be nice, though I can think of a reason why they may not have wanted to. It would make leveling underleveled maidens significantly easier.

My biggest is trying to cast abilities feels nearly impossible for the mage characters with how finnicky the clicking is.

Yeah, mouse responsiveness in general seems too poor for how quickly things can move.

Note: Didn't notice this at first, but there's a little "filling circle" cooldown on how often you can pick up a girl. But it's still difficult to pick up a moving girl even when she isn't on pickup cooldown. I also think you essentially can't click offensive skills if there is no opponent in range. And for ranged AoE's, you can drag the attack to where you want it.

You can also zoom in with the mouse wheel, but moving the view around is SOO slow (click and drag, at like a fraction of the speed the mouse is moving)

Oh, one thing to mention, I guess. I don't really *use* mage characters.

I use my tank and my healer, with the other two characters never deploying until my tank has engaged the final enemy. They're pretty much just there to sponge EXP to do challenges at some later date.

It's too hard wrangling the maidens to prevent all the squishies from running past my tank and getting 1-shotted. Even with the healer, I usually have her "picked up", drop her way back, cast the heal, then pick her up again. Thankfully, skills cycle even when they are being held after first deployment, and casting the heal keeps her in position for a good chunk of her pickup cooldown.
