This is pretty disappointing. It actually seems like they are trying to make people rebirth really early in, and put a huge emphasis on the gems, even at the cost of entertainment value.
I'm not finding it fun, and honestly if this stuff doesn't exist in the mobile version, I'll play that instead.

So now gems are a huge requirement, especially for starting players. You won't be getting many crystals due to the difficulty, you have to reborn earlier, and some of the moetans have prohibitive requirements that necessitate just paying it out.
BUT GEMS, gems can level your moes, double your crystals, provide a random artifact(for people who don't have many), and even provide permanent buffs to the randomly dying heroes. Oh, but most of that is random(I'm starting to hate gacha. Its not even microtransactions, its microgambling). random artifact, random hero upgrades, so....


I got very lucky when I started, got the crystal drop rate artifact, levelled it to 100%, used that to gain most of the others, and have them at decently high level. Even then, it is mostly a chore to get the robot(pp cost hero). Rebirthing before you get him will net maybe a few thousand crystals, at best. This is with several artifacts at lvl 30+. Ah well....


Oh, and can they get rid of the extra money counter on the left? What is it even there for, other than to stand out against everything else?
