How to beat the shadow? There is a spell (death*3-void-self) to gain 3 CEX by 11 mana, but that is still more than I can afford to beat 6 of them in hard arena...

It takes awhile to build-up but when you reach level 5-6, other than real strong guys, you're pretty much invincible. Here's some tips and trick

Spellwork this increases your enchantment time. if you have 2, then your enchantment on your item will last for two hours. If you enchant a weapon, that'll not only increase your weapon stats, it'll also save it from breaking- meaning your durability won't go down......but there's a catch. Pretty much all the high level opponents like magicians and monks has disenchantment- meaning their every attack will take your runes off your armor, helm and shield (doesn't affect sword).

CEX just like it sounds, every time you have sex your cex goes up. you can use CEX for 3 shield-defense or to increase your attack power. And you can negate disenchantment with 1 CEX.

Gears at the beginning you're pretty much broke so you can't buy armor/weapons. But there's a crafting option after the first chapter of Raven's Nest. you can craft dragon sword, armor, crossbow, arrows....I still use the dragon sword for two reasons....it's a good weapon and I spent 4 points to specialize it. If you don't plan to use this weapon forever, do not speacialize it.....cause points are hard to come by.....With arena battles you can save 40 gems and buy the best sword from the shop. Well dragon sword is a great starting weapon (it takes 21 hours to craft).

P.S. while crafting you can't travel, while traveling you can't craft.



Spell I'd suggest two spells. the one you learn at first....keep it in your quick cast.
And secondly, summoning. basically use any yellow(field) runes 1/2/3 times then use Void (green) rune and then spell.
e.g. life+life+life+void+spell........this'll cost 11 mana. one with only one field rune will cost 6 mana.



lastly, count your enemies moves-how many steps they can take and time you attack. This will help you a lot at the beginning. But later on pretty much every battle is a magic battle

By some luck, I got the last boss in Cavern with initially 11 hp and 21 mp with some auto regeneration in time, right after I got the reaction ring + obsidian dagger (from the ini pack).





so reaction dagger rules...

I got stuck in Sharanton, after dealing with monk assassins (without the reaction ring, it was really pain). The plot does not proceed from there. I am not sure if it is because I leave the city after finished the monk quest.

Also I don't know how to finish the very first cave, I cleaned up everything and did not find any loot and there is no check mark.

I have no idea what some items found in store and during quest are used for (rope, torch, flint, golden leaf, a tree branch, parchment, sketchbook, strange device, gypsy charm, vokka), the only used item is the brass key, and the only notified item is the Lyre.

I hope the developers may strengthen the story telling, besides remove the bugs and improve the balance.

Magic Dual most of the hardest battles of chapters are magic duels. But here's a funny thing....there's rule of magic duel that if a player moves from his position, he loses.

the fun part is there's a teleportation spell that relocates your opponent to a random place (Air+Arrow+Spell). I tried it against Ogre Mage but he avoided it by using CEX. But every opponent has limited amount of CEX (from monster book). This spell only costs 6 mana.
I haven't successfully tried this strategy but theoretically it should work. I am planning to use it on Kastor.

I cleaned up most of the places, still have not get the energy charm.... so I am stuck.

So after 1 year the Bordello bug still havent been fixed? Sigh...
