They look alright. Not a fan of the lack of theme consistency between them but I guess you could just look at it as more freedom to the artist to draw whatever.

Well spotted In fact it's kind of a core part of the game, not cloning but cosplaying female characters from the 20th\21st century, for the benefit of the massive population on an interstellar colony ship. Here's a bit more info:

The Heroines: The girls are part of an elite combat league charged with entertaining society while showcasing ‘key’ figures from a bygone golden age in their civilizations history.

Essentially extreme cosplay fused with simulated combat. A sample heroine would be the most famous bond girl ‘Honey Ryder’ in Dr. No. Modern sci-fi holo-battles that showcase some of the greatest women of the past.

    The Male Hero (You!)
The player sees the world through the eyes of a (cryogenically unfrozen) male protagonist from the 21st century, who is tasked with filling in the blanks for the cosplayer, on the personage they’ve built their life around. Of course he takes advantage of this in order to get to know them intimately. He must also use his considerable old school knowledge of fighting in the Combat League to defeat the male characters that are looking to dominate the league and impose their unjust ways on the participants and society. (Sexy Demolition man meets Futurama)
The bad guys are also recognisable guys from our time

Lots of innocent cultural-references and humour explaining the past babes and convincing the girls to explore their characters sexuality for true immersion...

Where did the story take place?
On an interstellar colony ship traveling to a distant universe. It’s a futuristic place where space travel and colonization of different habitable worlds is possible. The Spacecraft is essentially a planet of 4 Billion people with it’s own gladiatorial games, in the form of the Cosmic Shock League. The League serves as one of it’s key sources of entertainment as well as to determine social rank and political status for the entire population. The Girls in the league live out their fantasies and hone their combat skills in Holographic worlds, which are frequented by the Male hero.

    When did the story happen?
The year is 2440, 45 earth years into an interstellar mission to populate a distant sector of Terran controlled space. The Cosmic Shock League has been turned on it’s head, with ratings stagnating the league’s board make the decision to unfreeze (re-engineer) some of the more colourful combatants from the League's early days back on Terra...

Can't argue with your point it's totally correct. It was challenging for us to keep things consistent as we wanted to reference a lot of characters and character styles from different times and mediums. Plus we used art teams in China and Japan to do our hentai and most of the pose work. We have only 1 artist in our team and if she was to draw everything we were looking at launching in 2021

I guess 'no theme as a theme' is a good enough explanation.

Question about gameplay. Will we play against another players in real time or vs their teams like in Gems of War for example. The first option may cause problems with matchmaking.

So I used to play Primal Legends (the game they say they were inspired by for this game), and as far as I could tell that game was using real-time multiplayer. Don't know what they plan for this game, though.

That's correct, it will be realtime turn based PvP, as well as a pretty extensive PvE saga campaign. The matchmaking issue is one of the biggest challenges we have for sure, but we have taken some steps to reduce the risk.

    1. There will be R18 mobile and web versions at launch on Nutaku or within 2-3 weeks of each other at the most.
    2. We also plan to launch non-adult versions on other web portals and on IOS and Google Play
    3. We're not currently exclusive on Nutaku (Although it's our main target platform for sure) so we may launch it on other adult sites and host also it ourselves.

All players across R18 and non-adult (on all platforms) will be able to compete in the same tournaments, hopefully reducing the waiting times significantly. Also keep in mind that the player base on Nutaku is over a million unique users a month now, it's a far cry from the days of Angelic Saga when it was a very lonely place.

When you say 'real time turn-based PvP,' do you mean scheduled PvP windows a la Dragon Providence? Because that's what made me quit playing that game.
