aphrodite is a good ranged unit, fact is : you soon realize you will need 2 main things in this game
- a good active guild (where you stay daily active aswell)
- a plan deck wise
this because with the turf war (guild war each week) you get guild token that are used on buffs, those buffs cost relativelly low if you focus your team on a mainly 1 race (usually people go for hp/atk buff of 1 race, and like 1 extra buff based on ranged/melee or box cooldown).
now : aphrodite is a nice unit that surelly will boost your damage (also she combo lovelly well as much as any other high dmg unit along with void juggler), the issue of aphrodite is mainly 1, either you have a decently ranked friend that will give you the require epic in friend gift to evolve her, or you may be stuck with her for a while at that level...... still she's worth to have (easiest legends are actually order side aphrodite/lapis/athena), this because if we take the other races in example you have :
nature with : Bastet (findable in starter promo packs and boxxes aswell early on) / (Queen ananta, the naga legendary) League 10+ required or promo pack once you reach league 11 or so / Satyr (same as queen ananta) / Maeve (league 11) / Prince Nod (probably easy findable as bastet not really sure, but i didnt got even the epic toad for the evolve in case....)
Chaos : Mummy legendary (i dont remember the name) / Skeleton legend (i really dont remember what crappy names they gave them here) / Gargantos and i think that's it
so to summarize : if i were you i would get aphro she will help you quite a bit, she wont change whole deck flow like an athena/mummy legendary drop into your deck, but it may give you as much as an edge as to have a bastet early on without the downsides of such card
