Thread: Upcoming game: Pocket Waifu

Game's only been out a short while and already getting worse. Items in shop were all purchasable with coins then they locked a few behind diamonds. That was already a bad move. Now half the items are locked behind diamonds and those still purchasable with coins have gone up in cost.

If this is a sign of how the game will go I think I'm done with it. I get they need to make money but locking half your content behind a paywall is never the right way.

Won't be surprised if one day it's all locked behind diamonds.

If it's not behind a gotcha too, I have no problem with most of the content being behind paywalls. It's called a purchased game (with small demo). But then I believe the freemium model pretty much sucks for customers.

If it's behind a pay only gotcha though, then F 'em.

Considering you can earn gems doing weeklies, it's not even that big of a problem. The shop system isn't perfect but it's not paywalled, so don't go acting like it is. The game provides you the resources to get them, unless you decided to waste all of it from the start, then that's on you.

The big problems with the games right now, bugs aside, are the unnecessary nerf to coin gain from mini games and affection reduction when you don't keep the girls happy.

The time commitment needed to get girls up is pretty severe.

They did mention they were making adjustments to affection reduction, which is pretty much the main issue with progression, as you basically lose a good chunk within the hours you log off if you don't top off the girls, assuming your not on 24/7. I don't have to the patience to check every 20~30 minutes cause that's how long it takes rank 6 girls to do anything. I barely have that much time before I leave for work so I just stopped caring. All I literally do myself is log in once a day for the daily and save the tickets for official release in case any of the girls have a god awful requirement like Sakaki does with getting unique gifts, a.k.a. RNG gacha crap. The weekly has yet to reset either so I don't know what's going on there. Updates to the game have been rather dead lately so I'm honestly not expecting much.

Yeah, I was having a bad day and over-exaggerated there. I can deal with it now. That said, I agree on the affection reduction being a problem. I only set aside a few hours for these games every day and probably won't progress much if at all until they fix it. The coins I can handle fine enough as I play other games which are even worse grinds. lol Though I would definitely appreciate if they did give more.

It might just be me but in my opinion once you reach Needy with a girl the art work for eating/bathing becomes worse.

So the 'Weekly Quest' didn't reset until the 30 day login calendar reset. Even better one of the new quests that rewards 50 diamonds is to use 20 energy drinks, of which the cheapest is 10, so you need to spend 200 diamonds to get 50. I mean you get some drinks for free from the login calendar but only on 2 days of the 30 so nowhere near enough. Luckily diamonds don't seem very important. All current girls are at the highest level currently available with a couple of them maxed out towards the last tier whenever it launches. I do recommend saving all free gacha tickets until you have a girl that requires the special items that only come from there to give yourself more chances. I have a bunch saved now in case the last steps to unlock the highest tier require them again.

I got 5 dailies and poke 150 times for my 2 weeklies. I'd suggest you mention that energy drink one on the discord cause that's just stupid if it is what you described.

Idiots are working on the dev team. This latest update now gives Raquel and Cleo bad art work for eating/bathing. And someone decided to reset the calender even though we were a week into it.
