Which characters are the strongest for group makeup, and which should be focused first?

Thanks for the tips, Starburst98 and Keyen. Looking at the shards system, I can see why it's advantageous to focus on Trisha, Naladia and Elnora. There's also Chharodi but she would be a second earth-element, so I'm assuming it's not worth using her over Trisha who can be upgraded earlier?

As a follow-up question, should equipment just be upgraded when you get it, or is it better to craft?

Every couple of hours the event missions gets a (!) notification but it's still just Khalis there. Anyone know what's up with that?

That did it for me. 3 different ranged + 1 ranged friend (copy of my leader) didn't work. I had earlier tried:
3 ranged + 1 non-ranged friend.
and I'm 90% sure I tried 2 ranged + dupe ranged friend.

Trisha vs Naladia, who wins? Naladia has bonus vs light knight, but elemental advantage is on Trisha?

Trisha will likely win, assuming equal power. Naladia is a slow attacker and will probably get stunned.
I always pit my Trisha up against Naladia in arena, and she takes her down quickly.

Can i just ask 1 more thing? Whats the point of Experience book crafting? I can craft 2 academic scrolls out of 20 general scrolls --- gaining 2x500=1000 experience and losing 20x100=2000 experience.... whats the point???

money. you get more EXP per gold with bigger books.

So what're those crown-looking things that are dropping from raid battles? I couldn't find them in my inventory or any way to use them.
