    after you have reached level 10, you can travel to "the Imperial city" on the world map. In one of the buildings (i believe it was the palace), you can change your faction. You will get kicked from your guild if you have one, so you can join a new guild in your new faction. If you plan on changing factions, you should do it as soon as possible/avoid quests, so you don't start with a very negative reputation in your new faction.

    Question does it get better

    stamina has been a deal breaker to me. 300 max only lets me clear 2 areas, then its waiting for 600 minutes...
    Paying for mercenaries is cool, but at level 21 i 'could' have 3 mercs but fighting doesn't even pay enough for 2...
    finally, like above, game start slow and gets worse fast. play for 5 min then i have to reload or game gets stuck in combat
