Well it was a pay to win joke before and now to the surprise of no one Nutaku's doubled down and ruined another part of the game for new and low division players. Dark tower now can't be completed at all unless you have amassed enough high level cards to have a huge disparity in might between your high leveled and low leveled cards. Good job!

In other news friend coins, one of the few social elements of the game, are still an irritating chore to get despite there being absolutely no reason for this to be the case. Neato!

Now stay tuned for another 'SALE'/event that won't be in any way rewarding if you don't spend money.

On a separate note, i am have been playing this for at least 2 years it seems. It appears new because the Devs changed alot of things, like unit artworks, changed up the DT, etc.

For those newer players, i know of a wiki that has tips for you!

But yea, its a pay to win kind of game. You can go free and still become good, but thats gonna at least take you a month of daily log ins to get good stuff. It also helps to have high level friends as they can gift epics (1 card gift).

As far as someone mentioned about the friend coins, your right, its hard to collect consistantly. Its really better to save those till something good (like an epic) is giftable. That said, Legendary cards are the way to go. Once you get 8 good ones that work well together, all other cards are either level up folder (you gain exp for your main avatar through leveling, among other things) or fodder to evolve into the legendary cards you already own (because most people only need epics). Obviously you want to still level cards, because when in guild turf wars, your full army strength is what you can use (remember though that the weak cards dont contribute alot)

If anyone wants tips, let me know. I dont need noob friends, as my friend list is maxed out. But if you get better and i got space, i will consider adding you.

I feel the same way. Except that if your playing for "free" then your "rewarding experience" is any little win you can get. If you play for a while you will be collecting some good cards. You can still win legendary cards. I have gotten lucky on events i didnt spend money on.

If you do shell out 20 dollars though, as long as you get to the bonus chest, thats a legendary 80%. Do that for 8 events and you could have a decent team.

I know how you feel, because i am also cheap and dont want to spend the money. But this is how the game was from 2 years ago. Nutaku didnt really ruin anything, and friend coins were always hard to get. Dont throw shade at nutaku
