So if it gives me a goal of 500 I have to combine attack tiles to the value of 500? Sorry if I'm sounding dense here, but sometimes it'll add smaller amounts onto the goal & others not, this is why I'm getting confused as the last time it cam up, my target was 500 & after one mission it went to 250, the next 350 & then 480 where it stopped.

It's right, because it not accumulating value
It is request value atk title you combie when you atk monster once
For example, the image below request me must combine atk title >=900 once when i atk monster
