Eh, there is a mobile version, and IIRC last I tried it it works. However I still pretty much agree. Particularly in this case as the load scenes have enough H in them to make actually playing AT work far more risky than it is worth. (I happen to have enough dead time at work that it's ok to be doing stuff on your phone. However pornographic content is a definite no.)
Yeah, if the games doesn't take 25 seconds to jus load the title screen an another bunch of minutes to load the actual game or give me an error to "play it in the browser that chugs even more of your RAM", I could play it regularly. 3D Unity games and even 7 Sirens load way faster than this.
So yeah, a pass unless they fix the absurd loading times or release a desktop version.
Keep getting error for the game using firefox.
I am sort of curious how you go about messing up a game such that every few fights you have to clear the browsing cache or it starts getting 100% stuck on the load screen.
I got recommended Opera to play the game on the discord and have been having a smooth time for the last week playing 2-4 time a day.
Sacred Sword Princesses invite code for server 2: Ruu0006963
I think the issues with playing it are more related to server issues and network traffic than browser. I've loaded the game up a handful of times with Canary and had vastly different experiences each time, from horribly slow loading problems, to the game running very quickly with minimal loading, to the game refusing to even launch due to errors.
It seems to just be a generally very rough and unpolished game though, and I don't see it lasting long at all. Combat is janky as hell, damage numbers don't line up or make sense, health bars don't update correctly, enemies "die" and disappear without actually being at 0 health and still require attacks on invisible entities to finish off, enemies get pushed way off the screen breaking animations, etc. etc.
Ignoring those mostly cosmetic issues though it does seem like the type of game I'd like to play. I can't right now though, it wont start, and I imagine the myriad of issues will quickly kill any interest people have in it. I'm certainly not going to spend any money on something in this state, doesn't seem like a good investment.
shame this game has many issues. Some of the art in this game is stellar and the two animated scenes Oichi has is really sexy.
So...
After this "performance improvement" update...
Middle difficulty event quest just goes to a black screen on load in. (on Chrome, Edge, and Firefox)
Hard difficulty event quest locks up on boss (not like I can kill it even with 10k+ power more than recommended) on Edge (didn't try others)
Gold star for the devs.
