It's a contest of wills. They're betting you don't have the patience to remove them manually. And so far they're right. But their solution is for you to spend rubies, which means buying and spending Nutaku gold. If you want to be FTP, you have to put in the extra work.

There are two flaws with that logic.

First, you have to remove them manually, even if you buy them. They would have to implement a different mechanic to not bother you with the chests.

And second, even if you are spending Nutaku gold big time, they are just too expensive and endlessly appearing. I have seen chests costing 700 Rubies. There are better things to spend Rubies on than regularly buying dimensional chests.

Nobody ever said Nutaku was reasonable in its expectations of its whales. And this is not the first time they've pulled something like this. You can argue the numbers all you want...they're known for doing this.

Is anyone else having trouble loading the latest event?

There's nothing to load, you just do normal levels and collect an additional Frost shell with each completion.

Anyone know, if alien floating saucerers are one time harvestable or not.

The flying saucers can be harvested multiple times... they give the event times used for event points

I was referring to the frost nymph "event". There is a stage called event_frost (it looks like an air ship). But I think it's something that the devs were going to implement, but decided not to and forgot about it as it's still around even though the frost nymph event is over.

After working for a long time on clearing tiles, I'm not really seeing the point of uncovering more tiles than is required to gain one or two diesel UFOs and then just concentrating on pumping out event points. I mean, after the first two the event quests are so freaking time consuming that chasing them seems like a recipe for not finishing the event point rewards.
