I'm curious, did you perhaps misspeak? Ren Qing-Cheng is a Balanced SR, not SSR, and from the graph showing her growth, her Def should be middling at best. :/ That's either a gross oversight from the developers (which, I really wouldn't put past them) or perhaps you said the wrong girl.

Yes, she is an SR soul. However the graph you speak of shows what she gets via level up, it clearly does not include the bonuses from affection. So yeah, an oversight.

Yup, she's definitely broken. I was curious and looked at what mine was at and even only at Mutual Affinity Lv24 she already has a 1548 boost to Defense. I also looked at all the other souls I have and the only current four digit stat boost for anyone else is HP.

Yes, I know Ren is not an SSR, but she's an SR with better defense than any SSR, so that makes her an SSR you can get as an SR.

Level 100 affection stats (Bonuses from affection, do not include base stats) :

Speed : 300
HP : 8000
Attack : 700
Defense : 8400
Block Chance : 0
Guard Break Rate : 12%
Damage Rate : 5%
Damage Imm Rate : 5%

My Ren is currently a 5star, level 72, full skilled up girl with the following stats :
Initiative : 466
HP : 35K
Attack : 7.5K
Defense : 11.4K

is there any Battle Soul with a broken Speed count like Ren's broken Defense? or perhaps someone with a broken Attack count? I know my Lu Wu at Love for Life 20 has over 1K attack, but that doesn't feel broken

What are your guys thoughts on Kasumi Hattori? I’m currently at 5 stars with her and gave her some boosts and she’s at level 40 and working on upgrading her kusarigama with the nirvanas. Should I continue to invest in her or just focus on my SR and SSR in my party?

Focus more on your SRs and SSRs; the only R girl worth investing in later-on is Oda Sayoko. Its fine to spend a bit on Kasumi for the sake of progressing if she already happens to be one of your best chars, but expect to replace her.
