Okay, so this may be a stupid question but here goes.. How in the heck am I supposed to know who Tome of Shu Han or Tome of Cao Wei can be used on? Are these names of some sort of significance that I'm completely missing, or can I find what belongs to who in the game somewhere?

I've tried looking but could not locate anything regarding this matter.

the descriptions in this game are somewhat lacking.. oda sayoko's 4th ability "destined protector", does it only activate if she is in the front row or does it work from the back row aswell? does anyone know?

Pretty sure it's like any Passive and works as long as she's in the team. Unless it specifically says that it only works when in the front/back row, then it works regardless of placement.
