For me, all the timed stuff consistently ends at 16:00 GMT the day before it's supposed to (11:00 GMT -5, just as the last free stamina becomes available), but support always claims they can still see the events open normally...

That's weird. The event was definitely there at 18:00 GMT -5 (it was 1AM my time as I live in CET/GMT+2) for me as I used some stamina right before going to bed.

Speaking of the free stamina though, those get locked out for me an hour before they expire and prevent me from claiming them which is quite annoying.
