Y'know, hentai logic. Even with the good girls, the rape-iness seems more like a thing to give THEM an excuse to fuck like they actually want too... because Japanese cultural differences, Hentai logic, and women not being supposed to actually want sex. There are exceptions, like Dai Toren being an open slut... but the girls don't really seem to mind all that much. Then there's examples like Morrigan who's quote sums up a lot about the game's logic "Even if you're rough, I know you care. From now on I will be your toy."

As for cute monster-girls... Lord of Valkyria had them, but, that one got shut-down because people were losing more and more interest in it. I don't know of any others, but I haven't played every Nutaku game out there. Quiz of Valkyria might have them, but I may be mistaken. Anything else, I don't know.
Ah, hentai logic. Yeah, the girls who just say, "Don't touch there, it feels good!" can be assumed to really want that. And yeah, I recall that being a part of Japanese culture. In fact, I believe The Tale of Genji, said to be the world's first novel and written by a woman no less, has a similar scene that might be interpreted as rape, but reading between the lines and with a bit of knowledge of the culture you realize that the lady's refusal is pretty much being proper.

That said, they kinda make me uncomfortable since I imagine that's a spectacularly bad thing to do, at least in the West, and I tend to wonder, "Are there people who see this and think that's okay?"

Anyways, I thank you and Skulkraken for the game info, I've been meaning to check DP out.

Welp, I'm starting to think that Duel Squad is not particularly popular, seeing as it's been quite a while since anyone said anything about it in here. Not to mention that no one said anything about these last few events for good or ill. Granted, I suppose it's not that surprising, given the content, and the fact that there's not that much to do. Not to mention that event rewards are rather poor...

On the one hand, that hopefully means less whales. On the other hand, it might just go the way of Lord of Valkyrie, which would suck ass...

I suppose I'll have to wait and see a little while longer.

Duel Squad is still more popular than Angelic Saga, Girls Kingdom, Hellfire Girls (JP), and Quiz of Valkyrie, according to the game rankings.

Given how popular its sister game, Dragon Tactics, is...I don't think Duel Squad is going to die out as long as collab events continue to happen every now and then.

And Duel Squad is officially closing on the 28th of July, along with DT:M, it would seem.

Any reason why these 2 games are closing? I thought DT:M was doing good?

DT:M's low in the rankings from what I can tell. But DS has been fairly high as of late. I can only guess that they're not being profitable enough.

Considering both games are closing, it makes me wonder if there could be an issue between nutaku and the game devs, since both are the same developers.
