Crops & Profits
This is a farming simulator, so the goal of the game is simple: Grow crops, turn those into food dishes, and then complete the requests or sell it for gold. This page is a collaborative table of each item and the profit you get from it. Some crops take longer than others, but the table below will outline the basic selling price and the profit % compared to the time needed to create. (Sep 2019: some price data has been added based on the gay version of this game, Cockville, which shares the same game engine as Booty Farm. --Varlance)
The selling price is the maximum amount it can be sold for in the market. If you're in need of a crop and you can buy it cheaper than the posted price, then it's a deal.
Growing crops
For each crop, you want to keep some on hand, since you need at least one crop to plant. It's a good rule of thumb to plant 3 of each crop in your fields. That way if you used all of your stock by accident, you have some in your field when you need it, just enough to regrow a stash. I also recommend that you keep about 10 of each crop in your barn. That should be enough to make most recipes, and gives you seeds to restock. As this is a management game, you have to keep an eye that you don't use it all. Each crop gives 2 crops for the one seed you planted, doubling your crop. (However, what that eventually means is that after you get your original seed back, each field produces 1 new item of the crop you planted every time you plant it.)
Trees are really useful just for the fact that it doesn't require keeping seeds on hand to grow. All you have to do is water them, and then they grow another harvest. Trees produce 2 items of fruit per harvest.
Although this second table is still technically raw materials, it takes 2 steps to create. First you need to turn raw crops into animal feed, then you need to feed the animal and wait until it is ready to harvest. The "Processing Time" on the table lists both the material processing time and the animal processing time.
Salmon is similar to trees, where they dont take up as much room as the other animals. When unlocked, you get 2 fishing holes, so you can get a maximum of 20 peices every 10 minutes. The corn needed to bait them is easy and fast to come by, and you can put one in to start the timer, and keep farming to fill it to max. I sell this on a daily basis because its 200 after the full day passes, and its fast to set up.
Recipes
Although I have this building, I rarely fulfill requests with salads. The amount of time you need to grow the lettuce, adding in the long times to make the salad, really isn't worth it. That being said, before logging off for the night, make sure this building is working on something. By the time you log back on, hopefully it matches a request. If you have 10, then go ahead and sell it to clear space.
Only have extra crops in your barn. You can always make products if you have the basic crops needed. Obviously as you upgrade your barn or get requests, you can store things you know can move sooner or later, but you dont want to have your barn filled with items and no request is present for it. At that point, you might have to sell the items in the market.
Only sell the max of 10 items in the market. Reguardless of the item, it will take approx 24 hours for it to automatically get sold (idk if other people can buy it sooner than that). Again, its a time managment game, so if you can log on every 10 minutes, you will get more done than if you log on twice a day. That said, you can also set your alarm if your 1 hour crop takes that long. You decided what is best.
After you obtain your daily chest (need 5 requests keys) you may want to just accept the quests instead of holding it. You can also miss a daily chest and still not lose it. If you are on a chest and the daily reset happens, finishing your chest will unlock the next days chest. If you miss 48 hours though, one chest was skipped
corn is the most used crop. About 40% of all recipies uses corn, among other materials. Make alot of corn, and never run lower than 10. Its cheap if you need to buy seeds though.
Later I will have the top 5 items to sell to the market, based on (profit) divided by time to make. That top 5 will be updated as I unlock more items (im level 32, so still got more items to unlock). (Sep 2019: the top 5 items to sell depends on your level - what items you have unlocked and can make - and how often you want to log in to the game to set up your production orders. At level 23, Bee Feed is the most profitable item and it is usually easy to build up a stash of Bee Feed because you can make it faster than you can use it to supply your Beehives. Apple Juice sells for a high price, but you can only make 16 of these per 24 hour period. A table showing the most profitable items at level 23 (and how much you can make from having 4 sell slots in the market) is shown below. Salad production times may be shorter in Cockville than in Booty Farm after developer changes to the game - Mixed Salad takes 30 minutes to produce. --Varlance)
Decorations are kind of a waste of money, but the one tender sisters (costs gems) gives you a gem every 24 hours. It may seem like a waste, but if your planning to actively play this game for a long time, you can make your money back at some point. You can also get gems from chests and cleaning out rocks or trees.
Building materials can also come from chests, harvesting crops, and request rewards.
