Iris is mostly useful when backing up the predictions of another oddsmaker. She is perfectly accurate in her predictions, however she does not offer a prediction about who will win the race.

Rather than predicting about who will finish first, second or third, Iris predicts whether each boat’s position in the results order will be better than their position in the odds order. This also means that she does not make predictions for the boat that is first in the odds order.

When reading her predictions, the marks she makes on a boat should be interpreted as follows:

Icon	Meaning
	The boat’s position in the results order will be two or more better than their position in the odds order.
	The boat’s position in the results order will be exactly one better than their position in the odds order.
	The boat’s position in the results order will be the same or worse than their position in the odds order, or she has no opinion on where the boat will finish.
