Arrin's clothing appears to be based on Soma's clothes during God Eater 2, as he lacks his hoodie that is prominent in the first game. He instead wear a dark shirt under a jack that is red rather than white, and his hair is black, not white. Arrin don't have the special and unremovable armlet that all God Eaters have so they can use their weapon, God Arc. Both are from special families but while Soma's parents are scientists, Arrin's are like him, personally dealing with the monsters. His personality is also more derived from God Eater 2 as Soma underwent character development, from a loner man to a much more approachable version of himself.
