About: Since a young age, Trip has lived alone on a small island in a fog-covered sea. There, he works as a scavenger, diving deep to find all sorts of ancient treasures, most of which he sells for cash, though he may be prone to keep a few ancient sex toys for his own use. He dreams of finding a fabled land of paradise, said to exist high in the trees and escaping his island home.

Trip's appearance is much older than Rex, but not mature enough like his look I'm Xenoblade Chronicles 3, and both have brown hair but Trip's are lighter hue. Trip's outfit is a mix of his default attire and his Master Driver armor, and is purple rather than blue (default outfit) or white/green (armor). The crystal on Trip's chest is a heart instead of X. Both men originally started humble, with Rex working as a salvager to retrieve ancient technologies that fell into Cloud Sea, while Trip is a scavenger, who's tech he found are mostly sex toys, and sometimes cool swords too. Both also hoped to reach a fabled land, but unlike Rex who wants to reach Elysium to bring back Pyra to her place of birth, Trip however is more like an adventurer who wants to see the mythical land. The post-timeskip version of Rex, revealed in the third game, also made a cameo in his affection scenes.
