Appearance wise, Laurens looks a lot different than Erwin, being bulky, tanned, and stubbled man, though their haircut is still the same, just blue for Laurens. Same as Erwin, both men are tasked with fighting monsters that are threat to humanity, but unlike Erwin who only does this because he's bored, Laurens takes his role seriously to maintain the world's balance.
