With 36 D coins x 500 = 18k BC. So the value is the same with only half prize coin calculated.

And this is the thing. The half priced ones are very limited so if you already burned through them already you are looking at much more for those 1K D coins.

I got Fritiriliriatrsrstsiozryzthing aka Rice Lily recently and 6* Alstroe Maria. Rice Lily is not even evolved yet and Alstroe Maria don't really fit in that team.
