I haven't exactly memorized the main story, but I know the (reissued) events tend to focus on brief character development arcs, or just short stories about festivals, political incidents, stuff like that. The current event is a Sherlock Holmes-inspired thing. A lot of the main story also ties into the origin story of the pests, how the southwestern corner of the map was destroyed, and the whale airship. The quality varies, thought Nazuna genuinely being mistaken for a baby whale was pretty funny. The game seems to think she's fat for some reason. Might have to do with how she sometimes shows up as a parade balloon.

There are some interesting things in the lore. I mean if you have a mutation like animal ears you are treated like a freak of nature and abandoned. Look at what happened to Hare’s Ear/Bupleurum.

With how they removed the dialogue options for this event, i'd sooner expect them to just remove any new features from the event so they don't have to introduce new things, and with it, bugs. They don't seem to be able to handle new features right now.

You know what i think their problem is? They have, for months on end, never fully implemented an update, meaning they now have a gigantic pile of unimplemented stuff lying around. Dealing with any of their backlog would mean digging through all of those files, all in a foreign language, to find the stuff they need, without even knowing where to start or what they're looking for. It sounds impossible. If they had the manpower, they might be able to set up a system to make sense of it all, but they don't. That's just my theory though.

Considering that FKG is one of the oldest games here I am not surprised. Slacking off or not, there are games like Kaihime,Asagi,Sacred Sword, Fap CEO and newer ones that are taking over. Kaihime has the animations already baked in and Asagi has connections to the anime and other H games so they have more star power.

Losing the Nae powerup is annoying but I will live without it and the loss of scenes from missions doesn't phase me since I have long since gotten

After rolling New Year's Fritters I've pretty much been on auto pilot (stopped running whale stages, stopped running concept stages, etc). Up until the new event was released I'd been fishing for raid bosses in the third 80 stam stage of the New Year's event since it looks like that'll be the only way to get currency for the New Year's shop.

As for the 'free' 5* ticket there aren't any Knights left I'm all that interested in picking up. Maybe I'll use it on Bride Camellia so I can finally clear out the only set of 5* CSQ stages I didn't have access to.

There must be absolutely no communication between Hippo and DMM as the errors in game are so basic, a monkey could figure it out(but not a Hippo)
DMM should completely get rid of these idiots if they haven't already, giving them a bad name. Frankly I am kinda pissed at this point that they let this abomination continue.
I haven't logged in for a couple weeks and see no reason to do so again.

That's something you should have decided 2 months ago, there has been no improvement since then.
Helenium has been bloomed AND broken since february 6, that's (in my opinion)the beginning of this period of incompetence!

And before that, the "Almost every issue you wrote about it in the "Issue Reports" was passed down to our QA team to create tasks and make(force) devs to fix them" has been a proof of how many fucks they give about this game and community.

They sorta didn't do anything lol. Didn't fix the event quests being broken, didn't fix the many broken bloom abilities. And legitimately surprising to me, they didn't fix Easter Lily's skillblooms/dressblooms despite 100+ reports.

Pity; I've spent about $1000 on this game and stopped once broken stuff stopped getting fixed, stuff that had no reason to be broken in the first place became so, and it became clear that the management decided to try gouging the people who were actually spending. I certainly didn't mind spending money on the game but I do object to being taken advantage of, particularly when it became difficult to see what the money was actually being spent on because it clearly wasn't going back into the game.
