Interesting so different types gather different resources more reliably.
So Destros and Artis have better chance at picking items
Light and Mediums are better at gathering resources.

From what I've seen, Katysha has pretty big AoE. Like, "everything in front of her" big. Face her in PoC and see for yourself how she melts your deathball like nothing

She got significant nerfs a long time ago, so there are much better heavies. Then again, I haven't picked up the game in nearly a year so maybe things changed and she's suddenly really good again.

I realize that this is too late now, but do you really not have MK5 yet? If not, she's less of a special case tank than Sheridan, and I would think more useful altogether since Mediums basically rule this game. Unless of course you don't have Aria and really need a once-per-battle (almost) guaranteed kill. It's on a really fragile frame, though, so not as good as either of the others. Also, I've found that the stun from paradrop is not really all that useful.
